Damn, was hoping the first issue was a vanilla one, and not caused by my mod.

Looks like I can rule out the other three issues as being caused only by my mod though; surprised as much as a third of players have one of those issues on vanilla :flushed:

Why would people complain about a totally free update which most believe to be a fun and new way to extend the life of this incredible game? The fact that you are suprised that no-one is complaining is more of a reflection of you and your immature views of the game industry than anything else

Honestly, once you understand what the game meant about alerted showdown, they are not as difficult as they first appear.

Suspects / targets are enforcers if you wear your suit or a guard disguise.
But, wear a civilian disguise, any staff ? They are back to normal, and as easy to observe as before.

The game says it once, but it’s easy to overlook.

But Marrakesh is also not that hard. As a reminder : server disguise is fully authorized in the school.

So either it was a bug, a cheat. Or, and this is the fun bit, you found an easy leader, took them out, altf4’d, and replayed the mission over and over again. (and from the look of the mission time, it might be it)

The xp banks. And when you complete the mission you receive it all at once. I think leaders are like 1000xp.

(@scat1620, @Cucumber, this might be it)

(I accidentally did the same for far less xp, when I grinded down the Druzhina headshot challenge, gave me only 15.000 xp. Did 70 of them, leaving the 30 last one to be more natural. Thank you Heaven Island)

Thought the same, I’ve done the same trick but with a perfect run for 2 hours I accumulated 250K exp, maybe he found another way

Let’s play a little game called “Guess the Item”.
What do you think this is?

Answer

It’s the Guru’s Emetic Grenade

Haven’t seen this bug on any other map before. But I guess Paris is a little special with shining objects  https://www.hitmanforum.com/t/hitman-3-year-2-september-roadmap/16144/54?u=jan342

I think they still sell you things that you don’t have in your inventory just in case you may need it on your mission.

Like I’ve owned a wrench but left it at the safehouse and they still were selling a wrench.

No. They are empty. A complete white void.
@Patrick_McColloch

As a consequence : if you have a full tool crate, and used two or three in your previous contract, then they will be there.
If you use only one, the reward crate in the safehouse will suffice, if you use four or more, then it will be up to luck, at this point vendors only sell two items at most to avoid a complete breakdown of the tool gameplay. In exchange you will bank Merces very quickly with nothing to spend them on. Since at most you will spend 2000 M at the vendors, while making 5000+ M every contract.

Does this work for hardcore mode?

I just came across another example of a showdown suspect, who had all the characteristics of the target but also an additional one. The target was supposed to have a hat, earrings, a necklace and no hair, which is all true for this guy. And on top of that he also had glasses.

Speaking of recycled 47’s voicelines, just heard him say “I’d like to buy some glue” to a supplier.

Hardcore mode is INFURIATING.

Well it finally happened.

I just blew myself up with an explosive baseball I threw at my feet to distract a target, thinking it was the regular ball (which I didn’t even bring with me in the level…). That cost me the campaign, around 40k merces, and the Ghost (which set me back another 40k) but at least I had a good laugh out of it

I’m annoyed about the “No Combat” objective. It literally just seems to mean “don’t get spotted while doing illegal things like shooting”.

I’ve lost my “No Combat” while in a closed room with only the target and missing the first shot (due to the up and down animation when they puke).

“No Combat” should mean “Don’t get into the combat status”

“No Witnesses” is even worse since there’s basically no way to tell who is a witness or not (at first I thought it was all the orange alerted people but no, it’s totally unrelated). I generally ignore this one and do as if it doesn’t exist unless I’m alone in a room with the witness or something similar.

Second week-end of (over-)playing Freelancer.

Here are some of my milestones :

  • 20 campaigns completed in total
  • 1000 syndicate members eliminated
  • Mastery level 89, I crossed the “now it’s going to be for the long haul” line : mastery went from 50-60 thousand xp per level to 150,000xp to reach 90
  • After a campaign fail, I decided to sacrifice the rest of my Merces on the shrine of the “Cold Feet”, the “Sometimes meyba good, sometimes maybe shit”, and the “Living on the Edge” challenges. Timed right, it’s not that many full campaign failed, and too many halving of Merces (exit one in the first syndicate, alerted showdown, one exit in a second syndicate takedown, one exit in the second showdown). Still went from 800,000 to 70,000 Merces
  • 75/99 challenges unlocked in total

And finally :

  • unlocked all of the “50 members or leaders in [insert location] eliminated”. Making some neat shelves in the Safehouse Office :
