So, after the latest update for the game, it’s looking like that was indeed the last patch for Year 3 content.
My question now is, do we reckon that’s it for updates to Freelancer now then? It’s still uncertain if we’re going to get Year 4 content, but I’m just curious as we’ve seen there’s still hidden cosmetics/decorations for the Safehouse we haven’t got yet, but were seen in the original ‘How to Play’ trailer such as Easter, Halloween and Xmas Safehouse decorations?
I’m really hoping there’s still more additions coming to Freelancer, but they were just hidden as part of the latest patch
There had better be more updates, or at least fixes. That bench in the garage is for making bombs and I can’t fucking do it because of the issue with the power cell. An entire function left useless and still not fixed after two updates now. They need to get on this at the very least.
I really don’t think this was the last patch, for Freelancer or Hitman 3 in general. They wouldn’t take out the Perfect Run objective in August with the hope of fixing it in the future if the final patch was coming up in 2 months. There’s still several outstanding things too like the ICA Outstanding Service Coin not being available, the fuse not working, Arrange Meeting not triggering properly, suspects getting stuck on their routes sometimes, Sapienza not having the proper layout, etc.
Honestly by that point it’s mind boggling why they still haven’t moved that fuse to some shelf, or somewhere where people would be 100% certain they could pick it up. I think their playtesters probably never use explosives.
I can only pick the fuse up, if i spawn in the garage cleaning the floor. In this case i can pick up the fuse every time. 100% consistant.
If i do not spawn there it’s unpickable since release for me.
Can someone comfirm this too?
Think the best solution would be to place the fuse somewhere else…
This how I pick up the fuse, it doesn’t always work but is consistent at least 80% of the time:
Change the garage walls to the default decoration, which is basically no decoration, and then go into a mission. Now whenever you need it just change the decoration and the fuse should spawn and be pickable. Just make sure to change the decoration back to default after you pick the fuse.
At this point I’m slowly beginning to believe that the Coin™ is being held hostage to be released on Freelancer’s anniversary as part of the big end of Y3 and possibly WoA as a whole.
I haven’t played Freelancer for a while, but I just booted it up on PS4 and it looks like the Safehouse “exit to mission” airplane ticket icons are gone, only visible in Instinct.
This is new right? The icons used to be all over, even when in “natural view” mode, right? I just want to be sure my memory serves me right. Because I’ve been asking for this change, and it looks great!
Agreed. Wait but now I’ve been running around for a few minutes, and I’m not in Instinct, and they’re not going away…
Edit: It seems I celebrated too early. The icons are back. I don’t know why they took so long to load/appear the first time. Anyway, this should be a permanent change please.
They don’t, and when you get near them they don’t have an icon above their head either. You can still tell where they are by the jingling coins sound effect they play and their voice lines. If you have the subtitle speaker indicator on it makes them really easy to find
