What's New....?

Heatwave! In Australia we call that a light spring or warm winter at the most.

The heat isnā€™t the problem, itā€™s the damn humidity. Itā€™s 20Ā°C outside with 93% humidity at 7am and in my room itā€™s 29.5Ā°C. Feels like Iā€™m living in a bog and with all these damn mosquitos, I may just be in one

Again?

Well, I guess he does get around a lot.

The ā€œFeels Likeā€ part in weather apps hurts me always. I remember old times when I lived near the sea, and humidity was always above 80%. ā€œ35C, Feels like 45Cā€. Wtf. Now itā€™s cold all the time. Even summer is like winter to me in here.

Sounds like heaven to me

Canā€™t disagree. You can always wear more clothes in cold but not less in warm.

That and also drink hot-chocolate, tea, coffee, mulled wine or moonshine to keep ya warmā€¦

Who am I kidding, just stick to the wine and moonshine :stuck_out_tongue:

Your kinda gal would probably want to have a summer vacation with you at the other hemisphere. Make sure to rent a proper beach house at places like Hawkeā€™s Bay.

I can assure you that if you ever get a chance to visit New Zealand during summer, that would probably be for a while for at least December. That said though Iā€™ve been told itā€™s a beautiful country, which I canā€™t help but agree.

Me personally Iā€™ve wanted to visit Germany though, most notably for its clubbing and political history.

As a matter of fact, I did, although not during summer season. It was in mid September, I visited two cities, Auckland and Wellington. In terms of weather, itā€™s comfortable. I only needed to wear a T-shirt and pants. It was needed to wear coat in early morning, though. Wellington really was very windy.

(Yep, thatā€™s me. I am even heavier now, though )

 An interesting looking Burger King :hamburger:

Well yeah, I had never been there, so Iā€™d like to visit the country as well. But my trip will likely be all about cars! Headquarters and museums of German manufacturers, NĆ¼rburgring racetrack, Autobahn, etc. It is probably better to visit there during summer and after pandemic, Iā€™d imagine.

Nothing of interest happened here :stuck_out_tongue:
Clubbing is nice tho, i guess

The Autobahn is nice, but sometimes i wonder if we shouldnt introduce a tempo limit everywhere. Its crazy when you drive like 140 km/h and get passed by sportscars driving like 100 km/h more than you

EDIT: you should smile more, look at your sister she seems happy

Oh wow thatā€™s fantastic. Yeah for the weather thing it can get somewhat warm or windy during most of the year. It gets real bad on winter nights and in the middle of the night where Iā€™m unable to sleep.

That Burger King looks about the same as every other food company in the city haha. I havenā€™t been to Wellington so Iā€™ll just describe what I know for Auckland - literally everything, including most Queen Street, all looks modern and makes good tourist attraction points such as the viaduct or the SkyTower. I think around 2008-2009 it was being redesigned for a more modern feel and so far it looks great. Also has a great atmosphere for getting wasted at the clubs haha.

(Not my pic, just one taken from a quick search)

In the end though itā€™s still largely a city and youā€™re better off exploring other parts of the country too. Places like One Tree Hill and Rangitoto Island are both largely in the Auckland district, but places like Lake Taupo or the Cape Reinga lighthouse are also nice to visit.

I really need the full version of my family photo album now, because I am pretty sure Iā€™ve been to SkyTower. My sister seemed to be really interested in the jump experience they offered, but we eventually didnā€™t do it. She got herself a kiwi bird toy in the souvenir shop, though.

Well, Iā€™ve looked into my family photo album and somehow couldnā€™t find a better picture at the moment, but I will try it next time! Perhaps a big smile will be put on my face when I finally make it to Frankfort International Motor Show in the future.

@MrOchoa Iā€™ve just read that the show will be permanently moved to Munich from 2021 onward. But I will probably find another reason to visit you and the city sometimes, I think. Thank you for being kind and awesome! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I havenā€™t even been skydiving yet and I always shy away from doing so. I donā€™t have a fear of heights or anything but I still canā€™t gain any courage to do it yet. :stuck_out_tongue:

They do offer a nice casino thoughā€¦

Iā€™m shocked that these jackasses are still up to the challenge (and pain) for another movie
Canā€™t wait to see it!

All symptoms gone! Celebrated by eating a hotdog (probably not the best thing to eat now) but who cares? Still have to stay at home for about a week until the quarantine ends.
