I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, send post.
Finally got my Devotee badge!!! I’ve always been only a few days off, so last year i made it my goal to not forget, i thought it was in July that i’d earn it, so a nice suprise!
Fun fact: I’ve never washed any of my cars.
Lucky…
At the time of writing, the Titan submersible’s oxygen supply is due to be depleted.
Wherever they are, for now the world may never know.
From what I’ve read, the most likely scenario is that anyone on that sub probably didn’t suffer and there wasn’t much to locate. It’s a sad thing, for sure.
They got to experience the titanic in the most literal way possible.
And become a footnote in the Titanics seemingly multi generational history.
That’s the one thing about this that I truly don’t like. That this stupid-add story is now going to be connected with the history of Titanic, and will be brought up as an “additional tragedy” that occurred generations later after the ship was found and visitation to it became somewhat regular.
Probably in bad taste, but the situation matches:
Reading articles about this reveals that the submarine had multiple incidents throughout the years so it simply was a matter of time…
I say, let ‘em crash!
So true bestie!
To be fair, that kind of thing happens so often, while the idea of a bunch of rich idiots doing something so obviously, phenomenally stupid that they couldn’t see because of their wealth and arrogance, and actually paying the harshest of punishments for it, all in the name of something that was the world’s most well-known example of tragedy also brought on by human wealth and arrogance, is such a rare and novel occurrence that I can’t even fault the media’s coverage of this one over that one. For once, the greater tragedy is the less interesting of the two.
I never understood why people blur license plates in pictures and videos. I see them all the time just driving around. What’s so private about a license plate? Google blurs them on Street View. why?
Well, it’s official. The sub imploded.
Mortal Kombat 1 stress test this weekend, guess who didn’t received an invitation? Yep, it’s me.
Well I didn’t get one either. I’ve never played that game and had reason to assume I would get one, but still.
