I don’t remember having any issues with the game. Ran fine right out of the box
Guess you didn’t die then.
Nope, no such issue on my end though I don’t remember dying as soon as I collected any of them.
I’m doing a full 100% playthrough of all AC games, in order of release, 1st time playing for each, from the original through Valhalla, including all Xbox accessible DLC and extras. Started in February of 2020 and barring some side-tracking to Hitman 3 and Resident Evil Village, am now halfway through Black Flag. I’m… gonna be busy for a while. Hell, the series might have concluded by the time I catch up to everyone, and I intend to go through the entire series a total of 3 times. This is try 1…
There are capitol rioters who will be out of prison before I’m done.
I haven’t played every AC, but i liked 1 and 2 the most and to this day i despise freakin Petruccio.
As a pure assassination game, the first is still at the top of the list for me. As a story of character and adventure, the following games go much further.
OoT and MM are two of those games that always made me wonder what people love so much about them. Sure, they were groundbreaking back then, but i feel like A Link to the Past aka the best Zelda Game has aged so much better and still holds up today.
A link to the past is so good, makes me sad that zelda almost never returned to “the 2d formula”
There are a decent number of 2D Zelda games. Its just that they were all basically made for the Nintendo handhelds. The question now is whether or not Nintendo has much interest in the 2D Zelda side of things since they only make the Switch now, and it seems like most of there games are full price, rather than when you had the handheld games being lower priced than the console games.
That and because it can seem like there aren’t that many Zelda games when so many of them just haven’t been re-released or are available for the Switch.
I believe the traditional 2D Zelda games we have are:
The Legend of Zelda
A Link to the Past
Link’s Awakening, DX, and the Switch remake.
Oracle of Ages & Seasons
The Minish Cap
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
A Link Between Worlds
There’s also those multiplayer 2D Zelda games Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures, and Tri-Force Heroes.

@YellowZR1 Entered my first Sport online match in GT7 today, did a round in the Manufactor’s Cup. Decided to work for Aston Martin. And it was the sodding full length on the Nurburgring. 2 laps to get a qualifying time, 3 laps proper race. Came 7th in qualifying, 6th in the race out of 12. Not too shabby I think for such an exhaustingly long course. Can tell some players had no regards to try and drive safely like your meant too, but then I’m in the bottom rung of players, so I imagine that will probably be for the course until I can get my driver rating up a level.
@Freezer I’ve started Persona 2: Innocent Sin. An hour in. It’s… interesting. Doesn’t seem to want to waste much time introducing everything, so much so you can’t help but go “wait, what, what is going on?” It’s going to be interesting.
I started playing Ark Survival Evolved, since it is for free for PlayStation Plus, and I got kinda addicted
I must say I’m more into building and taming than fighting, since I’m playing alone most of the time. Sometimes my brother joins me. It’s so much fun!
Currently I’m playing on Valguero and I love this map.
That’s pretty good considering how difficult Nordschleife is! I often overshoot the sector after the carousel turn, or the final turn after the long straight. Aston should be a decent choice for Manufacturing’s Cup too with both Gr.4 and Gr.3 Vantages. I once chose Ford back when I was playing GT Sport, just to get my hands on Gr.3 Mustang, though never played a single Sport match.
I will have to think about which manufacturer I choose when I eventually get around the mode in GT7, you know, after I finish all singleplayer events. Currently I have done the Café campaign, and golded all licenses. Now I am making my way to gold all driving missions!
In the meantime, I am waiting to see what PD will add in the first content update this month. They did promise new cars, tracks, and buffing payouts of races, so hopefully it will improve the game’s general perceptions after the backlash a few weeks back.
Most of my overtakes were from other drivers flying off the track at certain points. And I certainly flew off the track a couple of times.
I’m really hopeful the endurance races will have good payouts. I think it will make grinding a bit easier and a bit more fun, rather than my current method of grinding the Trial Mountain Cup for 100,000 credits.
Sadly, I doubt I’ll be able to play any of the cups that much. They’re set at certain times, currently it seems to be at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm, and I have to leave for work at 4:30pm, and when I did the cup yesterday at 4pm it took until 5pm til I was finished. Guess there is the daily races, although it seems like everytime I want to do one half the time I don’t have the proper vehicle for it.
Kirby Forgotten Land spoilers
Not done the main game yet, but I’d say I’m 2/3rds through. On World 5 now.
I haven’t been spoiled on anything about the ending or how crazy it gets (because it always does), but I have seen the title of the Finale track, since Youtube keeps pushing it to me.
Its called “Two Planets Approaching the Roche Limit”, and – if you don’t know what a Roche Limit is like me – it sounds like par for the course for a Kirby game…
The Roche Limit is essentially the point at which an orbiting object gets torn apart by the gravitational pull of its main body
I have no idea how this could play into the game’s story or world, as it’s mostly been post-apocalyptic adventuring, but I’m excited!
Finished about 20 stages so far, and if I’m gonna compare to the previous game Star Allies, the end should be close. That one had 30 stages (excl. bonus stages). A totally new continent opened up just now, and there seems to be a World 6 right after, so that’s great!
So far, it’s been a really fun game (I love the side-missions in each stage, and they made them pretty hidden! Very different to Star Allies!) Also, it’s been adorable, which is perfect!
Death Stranding Director’s Cut came out on PC, and it’s lovely. I’ve completed the Firing Range content and the new “Abandoned Factory” quests. Very solid additions to the game’s content offering, probably at their peak in quality when you’re playing them intermittently as a way to break up the main campaign.
What I was most excited for though, the main refinements to the base world with new items/routes, is by far the best part. The glider jetpack is the perfect way to cap off Death Stranding’s endgame and will make the road to every LLL rank much more fun to walk.
Startet the Skywalker Saga today, its quite neat so far. Of course i started with Episode 7-9 just to get them out of the way.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land… done! (At least my first run through the main story)
The plot goes full Resident Evil by the end, but it really is as crazy and horrifying as you’d expect from this Pink Marshmallow game series.
THE ENDING
Well, after going through a post-apocalyptic world, full of abandoned cities, amusement parks, and industrial areas, (and beating a very menacing, mind-controlled Dedede) we get to… a secret laboratory, introduced by a fully-voiced intercom.
Holy moly, that reveal was pretty neat, if I do say so myself.
As final bosses go, it also ups the ante, with a multi-stage fight, an eldritch abomination from space hell-bent on consuming all life (and becomes terrifying The-Thing-blob-monster), and has a killer theme song that ends in a cinematic sequence that got my heart racing! (They did copy the QTEs from Star Allies but ehh, its pretty fun anyway.)
THE ENDGAME BONUSES
Also like Star Allies, there’s tons of content to do after the credits, but this time they aren’t adding it in via an update! It’s already in there!
What Star Allies had as the bonus modes “The Ultimate Choice!” (Boss Rush/The Arena) and “Heroes In Another Dimension” (special post-game mini-campaign) basically returns as “The Ultimate Cup” and “Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams”.
Ultimate Cup being a big boss-rush, and Forgo Dreams being remixed, harder versions of the game’s levels, where you have to collect many “Soul Pieces” to unlock the Secret/True Ending, or at least I assume so.
Not to mention there’s a whole new Gotcha machine (meh, collectible lootboxes) and even more secret Ability Evolutions to find.
It’s really impressive, and I guess this answers my question of if we’ll see free updates for FL in the future… "no, but that’s because that bonus content is already in there!"
For a first playthrough, I’d say the main game is a very enjoyable 9/10! Highly Reccommend, if you’re into Kirby. It’s got just enough challenge on Wild Mode (especially on Bosses), a cool new element of 3D levels and platforming, and lots of replayability and secrets in each level, with a sizeable swath of them.
After my week long venture into Virginia cause of work I spent the last Day indulging in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
I have a few complaints, but for the most part this might be one of the best Star Wars games to be created, and probably if not the best and most ambitious LEGO game to date.
Firstly, I’ll just say it now the game is fun, detailed, and definitely a lot of love went into creating it, but the game has a few design issues that in my personal opinion don’t hit the mark.
The Scavenger Class is my biggest issue with the design of the game since it effects locks out the class abilities til you begin The Force Awakens. So for the majority who either begin chronologically or by release order this effectively prevents you from completing puzzles til much later in the game. I feel these elements should of been introduced at some point depending at which trilogy you start with but I digress.
Secondly this game is very buggy with crashes, infinites loading screens, frame rate issues during cutscenes, and progression. These are just to name a few that I personally encountered.
Menu Navigation is a bit jarring especially for Free Play and character switching. It’s not as simple as the previous LEGO Star Wars games since it’s complicated with the individual character classes.
One big take away from this game is the Voice Acting and humor. Star Wars The Clone Wars takes front on the acting scene for the prequels. Personally speaking this is a good thing since it’s not ripping audio straight from the movies. The humor is a mixed bag and admittedly I had a few chuckles during Episode 1 and 2 as I start working on Episode 3.
Lastly and I want to make this abundantly clear I’ve purchased the deluxe edition which granted me the character packs currently available at this time. I’d say these character packs are the closest things to be P2W in a LEGO game since it grants you a lot of early game benefits such as specific character abilities being readily made available.
Im a good way through this game, but the game has so much to offer and explore. I’m not 100% sure when I’ll beat it, but I do know I intend on seeing everything the game has to offer.
