Pre-ordering a PS4 game which only PS5 footages were shown might be dumb, but I just can’t wait for the next Friday to arrive!
I’ve pre-ordered my copy of GT7 as well. Really want to sink my teeth into it. Hope it can meet the highs of GT3 and GT4.
Nice one! Pre-load has been available since the midnight, so don’t forget to do it. Also, if you feel like getting rid of pre-order bonus, visit library.playstation.com/downloads to cancel the cars or in-game currencies add-ons.
Thanks man but I’ve pre-ordered a physical copy for my PS5. Got some Amazon vouchers for Christmas so they went to buying the game. I have the week of the 14th March off from work so I imagine that is when I will really sink my teeth into the game.
Wonder how long it will take to earn money to get a DB5? I remember GT3 you could easily cheese that game for money because for some reason the F1 car you unlocked was allowed in most races against stuff like normal hatchbacks hilariously. I’m assuming that kindof exploit won’t be in this game haha.
Physical version will work too. Hope you will dive deeply into the game as well!
About the money earning though, we will see. The antique cars from the special dealer must be pretty expansive. I know that in GT Sport, removing prize cars you won from daily workouts or circuit experiences won’t return you the money those cars are worth. You have to grind hours of Blue Moon Bay races to buy those 20 mil cars. I do hope with the addition of GT café, collecting cars will be intuitive in GT7, giving players sense of satisfactions rather than torturing them.
i started a hardcore playthrough on disco elysium. when you select it in the menu, egg-head shouts “hardcore”, the menu music becomes anodic trance music, and the lights of the church in the background painting start pulsing with the beat.
Yeah I hope it won’t get too grindy for the expensive cars. I have read that GT7’s focus is meant to be on the car collection, hence stuff like the GT Cafe, so hope it is fun and doesn’t become a grind fest by the end. I’m not sure I’ll ever do much of the online play either, I’m not sure I’m willing to be enough of a rule abiding racer to compete in those kind of things.
GLUE STYLE!!! STICK THE DIFFICULTY TO THE MAX!!! YEAAAAAAGH!
Is it though?
Lately i have been playing Portal 1/2 and the Half-Life games a lot.
I really like the good old Valve games and the looks never get old. I also play a lot of mods. Besides from that, not much else. Only really playing and replaying a lot of classics from when i was younger.
the portal games are amazing. when they pop up on switch later in the year, im going to play them with my daughter.
to the mega
I am also excited for the Switch port. Finally a port to a newer console in 10 years! Aaaaand finally a reason to replay it with all the achievements. I don’t know if there will be achievements but if there aren’t any i’ll just replay the Steam achievements. I only have one more achievement to go in Portal 2 on Steam, being the smash the monitors achievement as it did not give it to me when i tried it. I liked the companion cube achievement in one of the more open coop levels. I don’t exactly remember which. It was a funnel and lightbridge level. One player dodges the turrets and makes paths with lightbridges and the other helps continue with the funnel. There is some spot on the wall where you find the third coop partner and then you die from spikes. I loved that one.
Yes, I agree with you and all the game critics sharing positive feedbacks.
After Sekiro, I am currently playing Elden Ring from Sunday.
I am highly satisfied and the game is worth buying - it is cheaper than other competing games too.
I have a feeling Elden Ring might win Game Award 2022.
5 Things I like:
- Level Design and beautiful environment (I paused the game and was staring the views - sample gif below - yes, it is a Castle on top of a moving tortoise)
- Different Classes - players can choose what they wish to play.
- At first the starting map was small, but then its massive map bot on above ground and under ground.
- Using sprit ashes and call in multiplayer support (works in offline mode as game AI).
- So many variations of enemies, each area in a sub region of an Area has a different kind of enemy - absolutely awesome.
5 Things that could have been better (constructive criticism):
- Starting Tutorial was not that explanatory (especially for non-Souls player like me)
- Annoying pop up after item pick up (I am not sure if there is an option)
- Too much of items which creates confusion (relates to point 1)
- The castles were mostly like Bloodborne, the first location was like Sekiro (but that’s ok - most game reuses the codes and objects like the Assassin Creed series)
- Starting Game Introduction voice was good but instead of pictures, they could have used cinematic animations to polish it (eg. Hitman 3 uses cinematic animations unlike Hitman 1 and 2, Sekiro has good cinematic animations)
Horizon Forbidden West, have to say I am having a blast running around looking for loose data points, picking up the collectibles as I go and doing all of the side missions. Wish there were more Vista Points instead of black boxes but what can I do?
This complaint doesn’t entirely make sense since the game explains the core mechanics as you discover them. I’d say Elden Ring in terms of the rest of the “Souls” is the most accessible especially with its having a tutorial area that is completely skippable if not paying attention to developer signs.
To clarify this only pertains to when you pick up something major or new that you haven’t discovered.
Welcome to a Souls Game where 100% it is an absolute bitch.
Alien Isolation is an amazing game. 8 years too late but better late than never.
I’ve been thinking of getting an MK game for the PS2. Which one would you recommend the most?
