Likely like the train carts in Mumbai, but not like the one that moves, since it’s an abandoned factory
Outside the playable area, however there was supposed to be a 2nd lot of railcars in the playable area.
An enemy agent using poison… could be an idea for freelancer as the trailer said there would be rival agents. Sometimes when 47 is blending in as a customer he would pretend drinking wines. So maybe the rival agent would poison the glass and kill 47? It’s weird to see the best assassin of all time get killed so easily, but if the rival is too weak and dull (like in the envy escaltion, the green bald guy isn’t good at all), then what’s the point of having a rival in the mission?
That’s assuming that the “rival” part means they’re coming for 47 himself, like the agents from Apex Predator, and not competing against him for the same target and seeing who gets there first, like the Envy escalation in 7DS. We’re still not sure which way they mean it, or if it’ll be both.
Frankly, I’m hoping more for the former, so that I don’t have to rush to get the main target in Freelancer and start running; I hate making 47 run. If they’re coming for him, then the key will be to be ready for them and you can take your time waiting for them to make the first move. Of course, if they’re competing and taking their sweet time, and we’re allowed to kill them without affecting our score/pay, then I’ll calmly kill them first and then the main target.

Mission: A Dance with the Devil
In the Hell Party, there is a projector room.
If you turn on the projector while the CIA Agent alone or the couple CIA Agent/Vaana is/are present in the adjacent room, they will be alerted.
They look at the window but they can’t see 47 in the other room, even though 47 is right ahead of the glass. However, the two guards that are guarding the door are moving. One is entering the room of the couple whereas the second is heading towards the projector room. He will ultimately turn off the projector.
I tested it because I didn’t know the function of that projector. It turned out that it is not really helpful.
IIRC If the projector is already on when they go into that room they don’t stress over it then, like you said, they can’t see you via the window and you can shoot them easily.
Maybe he changed his name? I believe they are the same person.
Likely an oversight. I think the Sheikh has a different name in Miami as well, despite being the same person.
Not sure what his contracts name is, but his disguise is called “Sheikh Salman Al-Ghazali” in Paris, but just “Sheik” in Miami.
“Sheik” is more predominantly used in the US, so maybe it’s that way because Miami is US, while Paris uses a more international variation.
Or maybe IOI just can’t make their minds up sometimes.
I mean, IOI also call Gregory Arthur in Mumbai “Gilford Bootyswang”.
IOI have never been one with consistency with these sorts of NPC’s.
These are small characters too. Go way back and Lei Ling became Mei Ling or maybe the other way around and she was one of only 4 recurring characters at that point. Still wonder what she’s up to. I hope to see her again someday.
In game somewhere or just behind the scenes?
My absolute favorite in game NPC names remain Gourd and Sugar Squirrel.
I’m game. Clearly a joke not just a lack of attention to detail. My fav name is Jack Please!
It’s in contracts mode last I checked.
More likely they mis-spelled “Shiekh”. You should see how many times they mis-spell “Marrakesh” in the games’ code (short answer: It’s a lot.)
More likely two different employees typed in the data (one used the Queen’s English while the other used American English) than an intentional choice to omit the second H when he travels to Miami.
Its not really that they misspell it, but moreso that they use the danish spelling of marrakech, rather than the international marrakesh
Ahhh, yeah, that makes sense. Goddamn you IOI and your non-standard spelling!
