Well she appears in instinct, so that’s one reason, probably the only one… unless…
Yeah, but like with Diana, people would find the way to look behind to see his genitals and would be dissapointed to see none.
Agreed. Maybe they could make it so that Yuki goes change into towel in room next to it (one with guy who constantly checks himself in mirror). Again, this could work in both ways, as in sauna, people can be both covered in towels and naked. But people bathing should definitely not have towels.
I saw in movies they are usually covered in towels too, so she might have to change into towel too.
Well, that’s how it pretty much boils down. BUT, on the other hand, we would miss some nice assasinations on our targets (especially with Yuki in sauna).
I agree with most of that. The only things I’d comment on are:
I guess I’d say if people want to use no clipping cheats or something else to see behind the scenes, that’s on them and the developers have no responsibility to realistically model something they never intended would be seen.
I’d say the best way to manage that would have been to have her actually change into an appropriate towel. They had the ability to make NPCs change when that was released, no reason they couldn’t have done it.
I wanna see a target spin his dick about. We need random streakers in every video game like in saints row 2
Is there really an NPC in the whole S1 that changes clothes? For some reason I can’t recall any, and the most I can think of come from Hitman 2
The towels for Yuki and Ljudmila are a great idea though, I think Hokkaido also suffered from having to be redesigned and getting rooms cut because it never made sense to have that many guests and no rooms for them, or everyone in towels but no changing rooms, it’s just not coherent with the rest
The summer sightseeing suit with the white pants is probably based on the original concept for the bangkok suit.
I did, but he did not talk to me. I started as Metal Worker, dismissed working one, and then Maelstorm came. I also learned that you can eliminate him that way. Put a coin down next to metal forge. hE will go pick it up, and you can push him into it. However, be careful of guard who he talks to - he might turn around and pick up coin by himself. You can pacify him with weapon, or preferably with sedative syringe to avoid him messing your kill.
It’s possible he doesn’t talk to you if you start as a metal worker (forgetting you could start in the disguise, I went and got it in the apartment on that corner and did it that way). Or, he might not talk you until his second pass through that area. Or, you didn’t wait for him to finish talking to the guard; afterwards the guard doesn’t turn around and you and maelstrom go around off to the side.
You still found a quick way to kill him like that regardless!
I’ve never noticed this NPC lying here in this bathroom. The one where the gal goes to throw up. Then again, I was playing through killing almost all of the guards.
If you go in while he’s lying down - he will get up and ask you to leave. Also, when the lady goes in there she’ll turn around, see him and then leave (putting her into a loop).
Edit: Although, I do wonder if it’s not because the fashion show is over and some of the NPCs from the model area go to the party area.
Ironically if the person asking him for scotch was a young beautiful woman, the Sheik probably would’ve gone to the bar and personally served her the scotch and being charming as he was doing so. Would’ve been much better that way but alas that wasn’t the case
Found out that if you set fire to dead NPCs, they’ll scream like they’re alive.
It’s not creepy at all.
if you run into the Hostage Hut in Ambrose to just hide in the chest near the wall, Smith will call out things like, “pssst! hey I know you!” and “47, is that you?” all while guards are searching for you and you are clearly hidden. it doesn’t blow your cover but I feel like it should
47 can really reach pretty far when he changes clothes. Then he leaves his old clothing at his feet. You can use this to “walk” a change of clothing to where you may want it later for a quick escape.
Yeah I use this a LOT if I’ve accidentally dropped a disguise somewhere I didn’t plan to.
That is some SERIOUS reach. Is that normal?
I know its possible by like maybe a foot away, but I’ve never seen that length!
That really helps in Hokkaido, particularly Patient Zero.
I wasn’t doing anything unusual. I had the hotel porter restock the mini bar and then walked the costume out to near the balcony. I was seeing how far I could get for each change but I wasn’t using a glitch or anything like that; just stepping a few feet away and changing.
I always wondered why we could hear a train horn in Colorado.
Turns out IO actually planned for a railway in the background. I like how IO tried to keep the original concept alive, even if they couldn’t implement it due to time constraints.
Oh neat! Would that train have just been outside the playable area or would it have been like what we eventually got in Mumbai?
