Nah, I failed the “Yay Ka-Boom-Boom” mission and the game crashed trying reloading the last checkpoint and haven’t been able to get back in since. Trying to load from the save menu is also crashing it.
I feel like the save is just completely corrupted, but I’m going to hope this patch fixes it anyway.
Patch 1.5 has been released across all titles for the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy on Xbox, PSN, and PC.
Seems to be fixes that address collision, bugs, and stability. Unfortunately I don’t know the full extent of the fixes since Patch Notes have yet to be released by Rockstar.
Unfortunately from my initial experience with San Andreas after it’s 16 GB update I am left underwhelmed since it’s been around 3 months since the last update.
Edit: I want to put emphasis that this update focuses on performance and just overall fixes this is a step in the right direction, but I do hope San Andreas gets more visual changes.
Have only just seen that the patch was released - and my save file on PS5 that would crash every time I tried to resume is finally loading! Weeeeeeeeeeeee! Can finally finish the game after not being able to continue since December 19th.
Warning: I say stuff like maybe it’s good they removed flags associated with racism and maybe there should have been more women in the plot since they’re mostly relegated to being sexy and nothing else.
No, but I will take you as a serious “Cars” collector. Wow, this is truly impressive!
Even as a self-claimed racing game enthusiast, I have only played the first 3 games, which were all Wii ports, by the way. The first game, though, was really amazing. Being able to freeroam in Radiator Springs, and most film characters being drivable really was a childhood dream.
I know some teenager thanks to like the one youtuber Discord server I ever joined.
Don’t talk much but he got into GTA last year and fell in love with 3 on PS2 and 100%'d it. He’s been playing Vice City and obsessing over it, and recounting what he did in it all the time.
Just checked discord messages and he got to Vice City’s pretty sudden ending. It’s amazing seeing someone discover this now instead of 20 years ago.
It’s funny bc despite the shortness of it it’s the favourite of the 3 for many people. Maybe even this person will think it’s best after they try San Andreas.
Pre-ordered the PS5 version of GTA V today. Wasn’t going to do it, but when I saw it’s launching at 75% off what will eventually be normal price I figured it was worth it to pick it up.
I don’t think it’s short, but the story basically takes a pause and the second it comes back the game is over. I don’t mind it but I guess it could be jarring to some people.
