Can I kick the door down?
Well, what do you think?
I mean, will you be able to? Itās extremely unlikely.
Can you still try that as an action? I suppose. If, by this action, youāre having fun with the āroomā, thereās nothing saying I canāt have fun with you.
thefixer47: I kick the door!
thefixer47 starts his run up from the other side of the small room. At a full sprint he leaps with his best foot forward, like a knight jousting another (actually) armored knight. With a shower of splinters the door shatters into a million toothpicks perfect for those tasty little smoked weenies marinated in a delicious sauce of mysterious origin. As the room floods with a blinding light, he finds that heās out! Heās made it. He actually escaā¦
What actually happened
He then wakes up from the bed, groaning in excruciating pain. It was all a dream! In his feeble attempt to cheat he shattered his ankle then fell to the floor, knocking himself out cold. The Room Master placed him there to recover, making sure to put up the wooden guard rail so he doesnāt fall out and get another boo-boo.
Apparently, the door is protected by impervious plot armor.
^Thatās what could happen. Are you sure you donāt want to try some other action thatās in the spirit of actually solving the escape room?
TL:DR You canāt do that. Whenever you get back and read this, you can try something else since I wonāt count this as a legitimate action. You did only ASK if you could do it.
See this post for most recent statusā¦
Iām going to add an important item that should help with the vibe of the escape room. āQuotedā for emphasis.
Thereās a picture on the wall of an old man dressed in camo and orange hunting cap, he appears to be in a forest, holding a rifle in one hand and a green mug in the other, while crouched down next to a bluetick coonhound.
Since Iām adding it this late, Iāll say itās not of any significance other than to give a reference to a few things in the room. It ultimately will not help in solving the room or affecting anything.
But, man! that wouldāve been great fodder for a clue to solve something else.
I would like to try the combination ā0000ā.
Iād like to open the purse, if Iām still alive.
Thank You!
A small purse
Inside you findā¦
- 3 coins: 2x Dimes (2x .10Ā¢) and 1x Penny (.01Ā¢)
- A small comb with 25 teeth, but some are broken
Examining the comb closer...
You see that the 10th, 12th, 16th, and 25th teeth are broken.
Congratulations!.. The lock is still locked.
If only there were some ridiculously obvious clue as to what the combination could be.
Wow. This is a real⦠head scratcher.
4747?
Any replies stating possible numbers for solving combinations, codes, etc. derived from clues must explain how they arrived at said numbers. If there is not an explanation in the reply then it will be ignored.
3 consecutive replies from any āplayerā with guesses regarding possible combination numbers without an explanation as to how it was figured will be muted. Essentially 3 strikes and youāre out. Donāt waste your time with frivolous fake/useless āguessesā and my time having to read them.
I feel called out.
Edit: I didnāt really realize it was much of an issue, Iāll try to avoid the joke/troll guesses for locks in the future.
Man, chill. Itās not like weāre new users spamming or anything. This is everyoneās first time.
Seeing the number of teeth remaining on the comb between the broken spaces is 9, 1, 3 and 8 I would like to try the combination 9138 on the fridge lock.
Thank You!
That opened the small fridge.
- Inside is a green mug (the same mug in the photo of the old man).
- It has a frozen liquid inside.
For being a good sport, youāre welcome to another turn should you choose to take it. No need to wait till tomorrow!
Well, I assume most of us arenāt idiots. So what am I supposed to think when no effort is put into the solving the clues or not choosing another action that hasnāt been taken yet (i.e. progressing)? The only other option is people acting with wrong/bad intentions, and makes me think they have zero interest in actually playing the game.
Thereās nothing wrong with establishing some rules and expectations. Sorry if you felt singled out since I quoted your post, but it did work as a good example of what not to do. Once is not a big deal, but up to 3 times is just⦠Yeah. Thereās no need for that.
Thank you.
I would like to look at the calendar, what can I see?
Question: can I move the calendar? Would that need another turn?
You seeā¦

Happy 80th Birthday, Grandpa!
Deer hunting with Gramps!
on the last day of that month.
No need to.
Edit: Youāre free to post what you think this clue is pointing to. You might come up with the right/single answer, or multiple possible answers. That way others can work with those results to see what it might work on⦠whatever that is.
Edit2: Or let someone else work it out themselves.
Would have been funnier if that second stupid was spelled āstoopid.ā

Free turns today (Sunday). I hope itās not getting confusing yet.
Iāll be putting a by items that have served their purpose. That way players will/should know they wonāt have to do anything else with/to them.
FWIW: I believe there are about 8 or more actions remaining.
