Oh. Oh wow! That’s… kind of an anticlimactic ending to the mysterious saga of these items! 
But nice! No clue why these may have taken so long. (No reveal or indication why the coin is so suddenly, easily here?) But that’s nice!

I really don’t like to be forced to do a Twitch subscription to have the suit. Sadly I’ll do it, but it’s not too respectful. I use Twitch only to have Hitman drops and I don’t care so much to subscribe and watching someone alse play videogames. Why do I have to waste money on something I’m not interested in?

47 drops the VHS tape after melee-ing somebody. Does that happen with any other melee item?

When I hit someone with it, it falls to the floor and you to have to pick it back up (it doesn’t break on contact). since it’s more of an oddity weapon, that doesn’t bother me.

Has anyone gotten the Purple Boxer Suit using the free subscription benefit for Twitch Prime members?
I am currently an Amazon Prime member and am wondering if I should give it a try.

I agree 100 % with you.
But I won´t subscribe. Why would I subscribe just to get an item? Ok, I would give the streamer some money and boost his subscriber count, but in reality I would be a “dead soul”. I would never watch him, never interact in the chat, nothing. And I would not subscribe again next month. So what is the point?
I really don´t get it. It was a bad decision. You want me to support a streamer? Fine, make him an elusive target or make him create contracts or something and put it on Steam as a DLC and give the streamer 100 % of the profit, I am OK with that. I will buy it, I buy everything Hitman because I am crazy. But you can´t make me subscribe to Twitch because I don´t use Twitch. It gives me nothing and it has nothing to do with my favourite game. I am here to play Hitman, not to “watch or use Twitch so i could play Hitman”.
People should not be OK with this because it could set a dangerous precedent. This time it´s just an ugly reskin of but what´s next for a subscription? The Solstice Suit everybody wants? Unique item that can have an impact in the game? New map?
No, IOI, this is not the way. And with your last few decisions, I am really worried for Project 007. Half of the game will be connected to Twitch or something… “This month watch a streamer for 90 hours and buy him a house to get a Walther PPK for your game!”

You’re right. I would have subscriber only to have the same suit of the splitter pack, but purple. Do it deserve 5 euro? No. I’m happy to spend that money, and even more, on new content, but not to subscribe to Twitch and get an outfit identical to another, just in a different color.

I’m not keen on a Twitch drop being tied to a subscription (even if you cancel after a month), especially with their varied pricing (here in Canada they cost more).
If you think of it as a raw purchase it’s too expensive for one cosmetic, but with it supporting a streamer it’s a better proposition.
As others have said, at least it isn’t the most fashionable outfit to miss out on.

Oh wow, Twitch Prime not being included certainly is a decision. Purple is my fave colour so id have used my prime sub for it, but paying for the suit seems a little sucky.
Anyone redeemed it yet? How is it?

Also does gifting a sub count? If i do decide to go for it, it would be for the suit. I never use Twitch so I would prefer to gift it to someone who will use it
About the items in the Splitter DLC, does the VHS Tape break when you throw it?
No, the tape does not break when thrown.

And does it KO NPCs that it hits?
It’s essentially an infinite use brick so you can throw it or smash it against someone’s head to KO them
