my prayers for some light pink items has been answered. now all i need is a cherry blossom suit and im happy
(omgosh a good chance for some self promo! Blossom Ninja at Hitman 3 Nexus - Mods and community)
Thereās tons of QoL changes such as suit fixes and spelling mistakes (and Freelancer too) on Nexus Mods. Every time I see what kind of bounties the PC players get every time, it makes me very sad weāre neglected badly on console and for all who play without mods! Hereās a question - how many would be very satisfied with a patch that took at least a few months of work (assuming it would take the small team that long to do and work toward) if they solely focused on texture mesh glitching, spelling mistakes and parity/QoL!
The real Goldballer in Freelancer, inventory management, Freelancer Bangkok exit in Main Campaign, Hokkaido Garden map fix and of course the elusive PS5 saving bugā¦the list goes on!
Interesting roadmap regarding the unlocks. Iām not sure what the developers were thinking. Who at IO thinks we wanted this? A suit designed by an 8-year old, a silverballer reskin, a plastic coin and a shoe. But here we are waiting for revolvers, dual wielding and the solstice suit. The disconnect between audience and developer is baffling.
Iām just waiting for bug fixes. As a bonus, Iām waiting on a single suit and a couple of pistols. Then full offline access and ETs released as they are. Seriously, if they addressed these things and added nothing else to the game, it would be a good finale.
Hey, you donāt have to convince me! You need to convince IOI. But unless you can get them off their viral marketing/ āmaking new entry pointsā kick, this is the road weāre going down. Short-term decisions that affect long-term player relations, and thereās nothing we can do about it.
And so weāre stuck with their current mindset of small content drops spread over weeks with obligatory ET activations that are almost the same as last year, and featured contracts, baffling item choices, and an even more baffling suit unlocks, all the while they, in essence, ignore anything controversial theyāve ever done. Itās been pretty clear for a while that thereās a disconnect between players and developers ā this roadmap is just another example of that they donāt actually understand their players in the way they used to. I donāt want easter eggs, as cool as they are to see. At this stage in the gamesā life, I want shit to get fixed and Offline Mode to have a functional scoring system! I shouldnāt be saying that almost a decade into the life of the WOA Trilogy, but here I am! But why do all that work, when IO can get away with releasing new items and celebrETās, which has the added monetary incentive of charging for the privilege of replaying them via DLC.
It benefits both parties to take criticism into account and adjust behaviour accordingly. Thatās player/ developer synergy weāre not getting right now. Iām not saying IO should listen and add every suggestion we put forward either (thatās just crazy for other reasons; not everything we say is pure gold; sturgeons law and all that), but there has to be more communication than what weāre currently getting. Right now, it feels more like an abusive relationship fuelled by copium that the company will eventually change their minds and listen, when thereās little evidence of that. Itās not a healthy mindset. Thatās why my only time in Hitman right now is for modding commitments. Iām playing Fall Guys and Just Cause 3 right now.
I should say that I donāt want no content in this hypothetical period of fixes either, but having only one new item (even a reskinned/ in-level prop) as an unlock for a challenge would be more justified if the fixes for the game were substantial and were a longer laundry list. But currently, that isnāt the case, and probably wonāt be until PSVR 2 gets the fixes it needs.
Which, knowing IOIās reputation of being slow to fix long-standing issues, Iām not hopeful theyāll fix all the PSVR 2 issues before the end of the year, let-alone before the next patch.
Fixed it for you.
The amusing part is: Iām fairly certain something large is coming up.
The talk of āexpanding the experienceā, something for the āhardcore communityā, and a few others.
Maybe IOI should workshop a way to tease it.
Weāre currently navigating blind, and under the dead-reckoned azimuth of the last year and a half. Which is unfortunately poor.
We might just need a quick flare to gauge things back.
A standard roadmap with some interesting stuff
I wish they also focused on fixing bugs and glitches, as the game is slowly going into end of life and some of them remaining since 2016 era

Also congratulations on the PSVR2 release, looks way closer of what we expect of a HITMAN VR experience: WoA is Coming to PSVR2 - March 27th 2025 - #87 by PatteDeFruit
Still looking forward to a solution to The Disruptor problem btw: Looking for a Disruptor Pack DLC key/gift on Steam
Cheers!
Hey everyone.
I really didnāt expect this much overwhelming negativity from some people here, and Iām really sorry to those who feel that way about this update/roadmap in Hitman.
I agree that the lack of bug fixing and QOL stuff needs attention, but I donāt want this topic to be all about hating IOI and taking it out on this roadmap (and 47ās cute ducky costume! ) which others want to enjoy. If you want to talk about those things, please create a new thread so we can have a nicer atmosphere in this one. (Maybe @Dribbleondo could rename their Sapienza one to more generic IOI feedback and missteps)
Ugh I just want somewhere nice to enjoy the game. I think itās best for me to not be active in Hitman interweb places and just enjoy the game by myself.
If people arenāt happy with the roadmap, then that needs to be discussed, preferably in a thread that has continuity with other aspects. And to be honest, a lot of the issues with the roadmap are its contents, not IOās behaviour (though that does not help either), despite my comment above.
(Maybe @Dribbleondo could rename their Sapienza one to more generic IOI feedback and missteps)
I canāt really do that as most of that post is about the Sapienza edition. The later comments about IOās general behaviour is the result of a natural progression of the discussion, which is perfectly reasonable.
I get it, it sucks to be a party pooper, but these things do need to be discussed, and moving it to a separate thread just enforces segregation between positivity and negativity (and the community as a whole already has a toxic positivity problem), when such discussion should be mixed, which can offer contrasting perspectives, and can often be referenced more easily by either side.
On the more enjoyable side. @BlossomFox
Could you help me on the new Hokkaido Easter Egg?
I believe you know it.
I know that when you blend in in the restaurant, the light turns cherry-blossom.
But I have no idea of the rest. And itās always fun to do.
Some bonsai blossom trees appear when the light flashes! Follow the trails they create!..
Hopefully the forthcoming Autumn/Fall Safehouse decorations get mentioned in the patch notes when the time comes
I think itās best if we have a state of the game (2025) thread, but before that materializeās it becomes a collaborative effort amongst people here that way we can get a clear and concise idea about what needs to change in order to deliver this type of feedback to IO.
Iām not saying I know whatās best for the game, and while I donāt play HITMAN 3 nearly as much anymore. Iām very much still passionate about this game and the community to where I want reasons to load up this game.
Found it. Thanks!
I actually saw that five cherry trees appeared beforehand.
But limited myself to public areas and suit only, and never went into the security room and then continued the trail.
I just kept trying to interact with the trees (there might have been some explosions).
So this time, with you assurance that I didnāt invented the new trees, and them being a trail, I went further. Courtesy of the Hospital Director disguise.
The trail is to sit at the cherry trees:
- Restaurant, blend in
- Foyer Security Room (follow the trees)
- Morgue Security Room (follow the trees)
- Staff Showers (follow the cherry-blossom lights)
- Back to the Restaurant (follow the cherry blossom lights)
Thatās a great new EE.
Always appreciate a good journey.
Would not be against a dedicated thread for that purpose. Count me in.
Hey @BlossomFox, I understand the way youāre feeling but please remember that all of the ānegative-likeā posts are not at all directed towards you. The simple and unfortunate fact is that a lot of pertinent or irritatingly simple issues are outstanding still in the gameās longevity of its time cycle and this is understandably frustrating for many long time players like myself and others in the community.
Iām personally very pleased with your recent post contributions to this forum and I humbly thank you for providing us with these areas for discussion. And Iām sure that the rest of the community echoes these sentiments too.
Do what is best for you in terms of taking breaks from here and other places, but just remember that the negativity isnāt towards you. Iād argue it isnāt so much pessimistic negativity, but more frustration at what hasnāt been solved, and should have been addressed and solved long ago. Please take care of yourself out there, ok?
Itās one thing to take things personally (Iām not saying BlossomFox feels that way), and another to have sympathy for others. Such as myself feeling like Combatglue gets a lot of undeserved heat fromā¦ eh, time to time.
Or IOIā¦
Itās important to remember that any criticism should be taken (and given) constructively.
One could see IOI as a whole, or break things down to individual people within IOI that are tasked with making decisionsā¦ other Humans who, Iām sure, are just trying their best.
Sometimes, people might feel the need to step away from negativity regardless of who or what itās directed towards - even when itās not directed towards them personally. If anyone feels the need to do that - thatās understandable and their decision.
