you should’ve pre-ordered.
That’s definitely not Soders voice in the Pride trailer. It’s a pretty common NPC voice but the tone in this trailer sounds pretty distinctly like Basil Carnaby’s voice, for one example.
I missed everything because my Windows decided to die and I spent the last hours to save my data.
Seems like this stream is worth being rewatched so I’m gonna do that soon.
Spoiler: Its not.
At some point Travis did get a bit… riled up? It was entertaining though.
I was surprised how candid they were with the questions they addressed. I didn’t bother submitting a question in the thread because I assumed they would just ignore the uncomfortable questions but Travis very much proved me wrong. Now I want to know about the sixth 20 mastery level.
Anyway, great stream.
I don’t yet have time to rewatch the full thing, but does someone have a timestamp for that? It might come in handy to have the exact wordings.

That’s where the question of modding comes up.
If that’s the case, then it would be (again) Matthew Gravelle, who has like one of the most overused voices in game. I thought it was Don Yates (Nathan Osgood), which would be funny, regarding the line that “Diana does not get her hands dirty”.
I doubt it’s Gravelle tho, he usually speaks with very distincitve Welsh accent. And besides, despite their limitations, there are still alot of voice actors which could provide voice.
I wish they had voices of past targets which would represent their sins - so with pride they could f. e. use Agent Montgomery (Derek Hagen),
All I can hear watching the trailer is the “Who is throwing stuff around 'ere? Come on!” guy, who I assume is also Gravelle?
The very same
I think he only did this for Kody Haynes. Most of his characters use a cockney accent, despite the guy being living in Cardiff himself
Then again, he was the voice in the Greed escalation, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re using him again for Pride
That was a fantastic, fantastic stream. Lots were revealed, a lot was talked about, a lot was explained.
- First, it’s so nice to see these two together again on screen. Love the energy, love the new set design. Apparently there was a stream in August? I don’t remember that. Feel like it’s been 12 months.
- New Pride content trailer. Neat.
- Talking about the decisions behind the 7DS content, the lead up to that, the whole process from announcing H3 and releasing the game and post-launch stuff was great.
- Community contracts again is awesome.
- Patch Notes preview was good. Glad to see some challenges being fixed, glad to hear about featured progression being fixed for others.
Also Legacy lighting being touched up again is great. The Overexposure/darkness has been jarring. - Another new seasonal event is pretty cool. I feel like the other Hitman games tried it once and then stopped, but this time we’re getting 2 confirmed ones.
- Huge tangent about the community’s hot topics and issues. They handled that very well. Still pretty professional. Just address it head on, admit it’s not in the plans, or it’s being discussed, or something about how or why or what is going on with it. Some stuff is just too hypothetical to accurately confirm.
I feel really bad for Travis, being the funnel through which all these issues and complaints are happening, but doesn’t want to be too candid and make him or IOI look bad… This was a good rant though. - More devs talks or concept art showcases or fan art appreciation sounds neat.
- Woo hoo I’m excited to see what’s going on on the 10th of May.
Very great stream, very great communication.
Also that’s some new IO merch they’re wearing (probably). Oooh
Now, I don’t like tagging IO members but I really have to here. @Travis_IOI that was such a good stream of communication.
- Going through the journey to launch, everything you guys set out to achieve and did
- Reasoning on why the 7DS DLC exists (to extend the lifespan and content calendar of the game, make more items like the Requiem pack)
- Why escalations are such a popular type of content from IOI, their flexibility that we’ll see explored further in the future
- Confirming that feedback you got in Greed is already been looked at for Act 3. (Now that’s good communication. )
More of that would be really great. Hearing IOI’s side, take the community “inside” IOI’s decisions and behind-the-scenes conversations about it is great (and would definitely help squash the idea that it’s all “easy work for easy money”, mandated by some evil executives or something)
Someone give this man a hug. Or a beer. Or both.
the hitman 2 door really is iconic. I still cant believe its not an actual door. they should make it an actual door.
True, I’ve mistaken that.
The explanation of the Seven Deadly Sins being “Requiem Pack times seven”… woof. The whole line of reasoning that “we actually meant to make them MORE worthless, but then we added escalations” put them in an even worse light than they were already in, to me. I hate that they have to squirm around like that instead of acknowledging what’s already obvious to everyone: the DLC is a fan tax, and a fairly steep one.
Leaving aside an explanation of the Law of Diminishing Returns, and I’d estimate they gave us 85-95% of Hitman 3 content for $60 and then charged $60 more for the remaining 5-15%. You can adjust that percentage based on how much you care about cosmetics. Personally I’m more on the 5% side, but I understand people value different things.
I’m sorry but haven’t people done this for the past 5 years and the only thing added that is noteworthy is the briefcase
