New Livestream: IOI Insider, May 5 @ 3pm CEST

For me the best part was that they said they will show fan art in the future. We have so many talented people here, I can’t wait to see their art appreciated

If we’re talking about Soders back, it’s rather Grey resurrected.
Grey is more pleasant person than Soders, at least for me

But then which sin will Grey represent? Lust? :upside_down_face:

Well anyway, I think Soders is a perfect fit for Pride. He didn’t believe 47 could beat him at Cuba in the game.

Nah, Diana is for Lust, that’s for sure

It’s difficult to find a highlight of this livestream, it just had so many.

What I take away from this first and foremost though is that I feel lucky that we love a game that has IO Interactive as its developers. I can’t think of many other creators that produce content on such a scale being so close and transparent to their fanbase.

Travis’ mentions of MrOchoa and helicopters prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that he’s not only a community manager, he’s also part of this community and this is just priceless. To, as a fan, so directly feed in to what IO is doing and how they’re doing it, it’s quite rare.

My respect only grows further when I see how hostile that community can be by just glancing at that god-forsaken twich chat, but I’m also glad that Hitmanforum is far more constructive and mature. It kind of broke my heart when I saw Travis and Clemens apologising so profusely in front of that angry twitch crowd when in my eyes they have just been doing a stellar job.

In clsoing, template question for future IOI Insiders:
Have you used the time between now and the last time we asked to reconsider your stance on a Hitman: Codename 47 Remaster?

I remember being really excited for Dreams for the PlayStation long before it was released (only to lose players so quickly, which is unfortunate) and the developers, media molecule, had scheduled streams too where they make stuff, talk about stuff, play with stuff and play other’s stuff.

They were really cool and open about stuff and they even had an award ceremony for the community. This stream really reminded me of that.

It’s me or I missed the part about ET formula? Did Travis actually said something about it?

He said nothing particular, just that it’s his fault of being unclear and silent about it.
It still in the works and news to come.
Might word he used while speaking about it. Whatever that could mean

I’m very interested to hear how they’re going to change the selection of featured contracts. I hope it isn’t as simple as a just making it a poll, because then sure, it’s not as simple as good briefing = featured. But it does mean, popular creator = featured, which isn’t much better

Hope it’s something cool like the devs are actually gonna play them and pick ones they like (not a great example but)

Wrath

As for Soders, I feel Envy would’ve been more fitting.

This was the thing in the past if I’m not mistaken

It is for you, though :innocent:

Clemens did mention it would not be only him deciding, so I’m thinking in lines of curated contracts by valued members of the community as we’ve seen before, but based on a more transparent process.

I would quite like that actually, everyone submits contracts. Then 5 or 10 members of the community pick ones they like to be featured, would be cool and really drive a sense of community

I thought the explanation of the 7 Deadly Sins DLC pricing was good and basically confirmed my thoughts that the issue is NOT that the DLC is overpriced - it’s that the H2 DLC was actually Under-priced. The DLC for Hitman 3 was based on just extra items, similar to the Requiem pack and the price is similar to that. The fact that we got two actual new maps for Hitman 2 was the mistake. Unfortunately, that mistake means that people now use that as the new standard for pricing instead of seeing it as an anomaly. Oh well.

I’m still enjoying the content!

stfu, they said it’s not on any Roadmap - for HITMAN 3, right? :sob:

You’re technically correct…

It’s a shame they see modding as nothing more than a data mining / hacking thing.

Simple fix, don’t add content that is not used in the game.

Wow, that is quite a take. We see things very differently (which is fine).
