Good idea but it doesn’t solve every situation. If you sedate an npc and then move them and the body gets found, you still lose SA.
Considering that you, the player, are the only one who can do any of these actions, the easiest way of resolving this issue is to just remember which NPCs you KOed and which ones you sedated. Since your options for sedation are limited in each playthrough, just keep track of which ones you sedated, or set a banana peel, or a rake, or removed a wet floor sign, whatever, and you’ll know the rest are KOs.
It annoys me that Alexios “The Drop” wants a vodka martini and 47 mixes him a drink which is decidedly not a martini.
I can’t remember, is it green like the bare knuckle boxer?
“We have Martini at home”
It’s not green, but it’s a bunch of vodka poured into a highball that Alexios tosses back in a big ol’ gulp. Look I don’t expect IOI to program 47 mixing drinks properly, it’s just a funny and mildly annoying detail, especially so after the target makes such a big deal about the vodka.
The lack of snow themed levels, compared to the abundance of winter/snow themed suits and items.
Yup. The Hokkaido mission is the only one with snow, and while the Isle of Sgail may be cold enough to warrant wearing winter outfits, and maybe the Christmas Paris map, it’s not really enough to suspend the disbelief.
There is also the train I guess but I suppose that doesn’t really count.
Since you can’t bring in your favourite winter starting suit, yeah, not really.
Sometimes I wear the big winter coats to locations like Miami, Santa Fortuna, and Mumbai just because it amuses me that strangers on the internet would be upset about the thematic dissonance.
Thank you, I’m upset now.
The Goldballer in Freelancer looks different than the one you unlock in the regular game. If they’re not going to change them to look alike, then they should name the one in Freelancer something different.
Well you know what, I’ve got a bombshell announcement to make, I wear the Black Winter Suit to every location because of how cool it looks. Plus, it’s an exclusive suit, so I love how unique it is!
I’ve stopped using it in Freelancer to be fair because of how faded the colour is compared to the badass looking version we can use in the Story/Contracts. Hope it gets changed for Freelancer sometime in the future.
While we’re talking about guns, why does the Hackl 9R look the same as the Hackl 9S, while the Bartoli 75R and the Bartoli 75S looks different from each other?
Also, would have loved a silenced custom Hackl 9 or Bartoli 75 that we could unlock and use, instead of unlocking another baller-reskin for the millionth time.
Hitman 2 introduced the Car Battery as an item to find in levels to be used to set up electrocution kills without needing to bring something like a taser in. And while I still wish they’d add some to the 2016 locations, the Car Battery appears in most of the Hitman 2 and 3 locations. The only ones that don’t have it are:
-
Carpathian Mountains - Understandable since you’re not really setting up stuff on that mission.
-
Haven Island - Also understandable since there’s no reason people would use a car on a small island. Though funnily enough they do appear on Ambrose Island and the Isle of Sgail.
-
Miami - The reason I’m making this post. Of all the locations in the trilogy the one place you’d most expect to find a car battery is the one featuring a ton of race cars and mechanic garages! And the kicker is there’s three car battery chargers to find in the level, but no batteries. What happened, did Florida Man steal them all?
@lukefsje Thanks for posting this.
I was thinking of doing a no loadout electrocution playthrough & was trying to think through which levels would be possible.
You’re so right about Miami. Of all the places not to have batteries
And like the batteries… BSB4. Now that we have more garroting weapons… A stethoscope should be found on Janus’s nurse, or in the medical facilities in Miami. Measuring tape in Helen West’s house where she’s working on the robe. Headphone wires in Bangkok (some)where the band resides. Maybe even more places that I can’t think of ATM.
Yeah, he wanted to charge electric eels so he threw them all in the ocean. I would’ve excused this if car battery did not appear in previous level, as IO likes to introduce items you find in game step by step, but since you can find it in Hawke’s Bay, there is no excuse.
It’s always bugged me that they didn’t add fishing line next to the people fishing in Sapienza and Santa Fortuna.
Stethoscopes would also make sense in Hokkaido, what with all the doctors.
