HITMAN 3 - Technical Support

Did you ever get this resolved? I’ve had this issue since March when I got my PS5. I had already complete the main game on my PS4 and ever since I moved over I get this same disconnection/error loading menu for every ET, contract, and on the DLC. I’ve been emailing back and forth with dev since then, no fixes yet.

Personally? No. However, it was fixed in an update.

Platform: PC

Description : The graphics of Dartmoor level seems to be covered with fog.

Steps to reproduce:
As I played Dartmoor recently, I realized that it looks differently from before. It looks like that it’s covered with fog. Or you can say that the contrast is low, and the dark place is not very dark. I think when I played this level last time (it’s 2 versions earlier), it did’t look like this. At that time the graphics feeling looked amazing.

I’ve yet to have this problem resolved too. Had to shelve the game and completely lost any hope with IOI. Only so many tickets I can send them before I realise I’m just being ignored…

Platform: Stadia

Description : Connection to the HITMAN server is very patchy

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Load the game in Stadia (this is fine, no problems with Stadia actually launching the executable or keeping the game itself running)

  2. Play any part of the game in Online mode for several minutes, and observe frequent Disconnections from the HITMAN server, loooong Re-Connection times, and frequent lags between completing mission objectives and those objectives actually being recognised as completed by the sever (kills taking ages to register, exits taking ages to spawn etc)

  1. Similarly poor connections to the HITMAN server observed on my Stadia account and the account of a friend who plays H:WoA on Stadia at a completely different UK location, so not specifically isolated to my account. Both of us have fast, stable internet connections and don’t experience problems with other games on Stadia, nor with Stadia loading the WoA executable itself - the problem is very specifically the poor connection of the Stadia game connecting to the HITMAN servers, not any poor connection between end users and their Stadia client.

Frequency : Very frequently, has been a problem on Stadia since at least The Liability ET in Berlin, if not earlier.

Platform: PC (epic games store)
digital game of HITMAN™3

Description: A warning appears as the game launches saying “epic validation failed: 1-0” with “RETRY” and “CANCEL” options. The game launcher can be launched if I click the “RETRY” button. But clicking the “PLAY” results in nothing but that the game is closed automatically and goes back to epic game store.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start the game from epic game launcher
  2. click “RETRY” in the warning
  3. click “PLAY” in the game launcher
  4. it happens

Frequency: Always

I have upgraded my GPU drive but it doesn’t work. This is not the very first time I have tried to launch the game. Actually I have played the game for 50h and this problem occurs when I changed my computer last month. I had succeeded launching and enjoying the game last week sometimes, but it ALWAYS goes wrong these days.

Description : I got LS-0013 whenever I start hitman 3 and tried every solutions on the website even reinstall the launcher and the game
And if I run the epic launcher as admin , it actually “solve” the LS-0013 error and launched the hitman launcher but then after I clicked start, the hitman launcher will disappear and the epic launcher appear again and the game didn’t start for me

Steps to reproduce: Start the game from epic launcher

Frequency : all the time

I suggest you to try to check game’s files integrity.
It can be done through Epic Games client library. Find the game there and click three dots near it.
In the menu that pops select Verify and wait till the process is finished. Then try to launch the game.
If it won’t work, try to reinstall the game itself, and also reinstall Epic Games client.
Reinstall means delete the game and the client from your PC and install both again.
You of course will need your Epic login details to be able to get back into your game library after reinstallation

I have checked game’s files integrity for countless times…
And I tried to reinstalled the game, which didn’t work.
I reinstalled epic as I read your reply, and God, all the games installed from epic are deleted altogether!!!
Now I have to wait for ages to get my RDR2 back. That is 100+GB!! :joy: :joy:
I have no idea if it works to fix the problem on HITMAN3, but it really costs too much…

I know this might not exactly help, but I’ve always got “epic validation failed” when I tried opening H3 offline (since I’m presuming H3 couldn’t get an Epic Games ticket which happens online). Maybe if file verification didn’t work, maybe H3 or Epic Games doesn’t detect your Wifi? Or maybe if you’re using Split Tunneling in a VPN, maybe that causes problems (although that shouldn’t, it would still use either your VPN or Wifi (or Ethernet for that matter)).

Well the installation finished and the problem keeps on going :joy:
Maybe using VPN would make it better though…

You using Wifi?
Did you try to reboot your router or use wire instead of Wifi?
Problem might be somewhere there. Maybe you need to allow HITMAN 3 in your firewall or add it to exceptions of anti-virus.

Also try to get in touch with Epic support. Maybe they will give you a solution.
Besides, there is HITMAN 3 Player Support Hub, addressing there could also help

I did get some back and forth going with Support, but after trying everything (including creating a new account on my PS5 and successfully playing the game with no issue) and not finding a resolution, it ultimately just led to being led to this link and basically being told that it’s a ‘known issue’ :man_shrugging:

I’ve also shelved the game and am fining solace currently in the new Watch Dogs Legion DLC.

I’ve heard other people saying that creating a new account is the only option, but I really don’t want to resolve it that way. I’ve played every ET since the first season of Hitman released, I’ve paid and played for all the add ons to get the unlocks and don’t want to lose that progress. Only time I have missed ET’s is because I can’t play them due to this issue. I’m probably getting repetitive and annoying because I keep posting about this problem and have done for months, but it’s the only hope I have left for IOI to genuinely see this is a problem and many people are unable to enjoy their game. @Travis_IOI

Platform: PC

Description: Hitman 3 crashes to desktop with Error saying ‘A breakpoint has been reached, Error 0x80000003’. Occasionally, it crashes without that error, with Windows 10 simply showing ‘Hitman 3 has stopped working’ error message.

Steps to Reproduce:

Start game via Epic Launcher. Play a mission, preferably a Contract. Anywhere between 3 minutes in to 25 minutes in, the game will crash.

Frequency: Every time I’ve played the game since last week

I have verified the game’s files on Epic, I have updated my AMD graphics driver, I have increased virtual memory minimum. No luck so far.

This has been going on for a week now. Really impacting playing the game. A fix would be appreciated.

Did you find a solution? It has been a while now but game still crashes for me!
