Description: Error 0x80000003. This thing has been the bane of this game since I hit the mumbia level. All i have to do to repeat this error is play the game for 10-30 minutes and the game freezes and crashes right back to windows. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, verifying the game files on epic changing the TdrDelay to 10 decimals, upgraded and downgraded my graphics driver. NOTHING. This freaking bug still reoccurs over and over and over again and I am so close to refunding the game it’s that bad. I’m talking double-digit amounts of crashing. Apparently there is one solution to delete the Shadercahce.bin but when I go to C:\Users\Pc\AppData\Local\IO Interactive\HITMAN3 there are only two files Pipelinecahce.bin and Pipelinelibrary.bin. There is nothing along the line of shadercahce.bin in that folder.
Steps to reproduce: Play the game for any given amount of time 3-45 minutes.
Frequncey: I haven’t had a play session where it hasn’t happened (it makes it impossible to pay master mode too).
I have tried everything and I am at my wits end. I have tried reddit even and no one would even respond there. PLEASE HELP SOS
2nd: Go to Advanced Driver Search | NVIDIA. Fill in all the blank information (make sure to keep “Windows Driver Type” as Standard). Download the latest Game Ready driver. Follow the instructions there.
3rd: At some point, you may realize that Nvidia Control Panel isn’t in your start menu anymore.
To fix this, press Win+R. Type “cmd” Hold Ctrl+Shift, then press Enter.
Accept the UAC prompt.
HATE that I am here again, was hoping this latest patch would do the trick, but alas.
Platform: PS5 Disc
Description : Exiting ANYTHING that isn’t Main Story missions, get a Disconnected prompt, click reconnect, get Error prompt saying can’t load requested menu, click Retry, get same Error prompt (infinite times, same thing), click Go to Menu, and then I’m offline.
Steps to reproduce: Try to Exit Mission on anything that isn’t a Main Story mission
Frequency : ALWAYS since April. This game is unplayable for me, especially frustrating since I paid for the Seven Deadly Sins DLC and PS Store won’t give me a refund.
Just a question: have you tried to launch the game and repeat the issue on different internet connection?
While trying this and confirming another connection has same problems, you exclude problems on your end.
But if another connection won’t give you problems like this means that something is wrong on your end.
Also did you do a hard reboot of your console, by any chance?
It’s when you unplug the power cable and in a few seconds plug it back again.
This simple trick could sometimes fix a great amount of console issues.
What connection are you using for your console? Wired or Wi-Fi?
Try to use different one: if you use wired, try wi-fi, if you use wi-fi, try wired.
Did you reboot your router? Sometimes it also helps.
Thing is, if you could play the game until April, it’s likely that something happened on your end. To identify what exactly, try to do what I described above
I appreciate the help, but I’ve done this all as prescribed by iOi’s Support Department. I’ve created a new account on my PS5 and am able to play everything in the game with no issues. It definitely doesn’t appear like anything on my end.
Description: I cannot start any missions/contracts currently. The reason the game gave me is the following: “There was an error starting the contract. An unknown error occurred”. I just purchased Season 2 today, and am disappointed I cannot play it. Earlier (about 4-5 hours ago) I was able to start a mission. I am aware of the current Stadia issues and I have noticed those but this is unrelated to that I think.
Steps: Play on Stadia and try to load any mission, I get the same error message.
Frequency: Happening every time that I have tried in the past 30mins-1hr.
I have water in Sepienza, Bangkok. The PC platform and it all started after updating the game. The drivers and before the update were up to the latest version. Either it’s something wrong with me or it’s a problem in the game itself.
EDIT: We found the problem. But it is another one.
I quote reddit:
For some reason, the “A Series of Unfortunate Events” achievement refuses to unlock. I met all the parameters, tried following guides on YouTube, and tried multiple times over the course of multiple days. stadiahunters.com shows that 12 tracked players have gotten the achievement.
One user noticed that on Stadia Hunters all the unlocks of the achievement were before Hitman 3 released on Janurary 20th, the latest unlock being on the 17th.
Hi. While trying to carry data from Hitman II, which I got on Epic Games, towards Hitman III, which I bought on the same platform, the site says I have no Hitman II linked account, even when my profile shows them both linked.
I am stuck at this and cannot start to play my new game with the features, mastery level, etc. I already got.
Please, I’d like to know how to do this, since I found no precise data on the site, nor over the internet.
Thank you.
Regards.
Besides the carry-over, you will also have to “claim” H2. You can do that by logging into your IOI profile on ioi.dk and going to “Location Importing” on your profile page.
I’m in the same EXACT situation. I’ve purchased the 7 Deadly Sins bundle for the extortionate price and the same day my game fucks up. I’ve put through so many tickets, tried 3 different wifi connections, deleted and reinstalled the game and all DLC, unlinked my IOI account and all i can get from IOI support is “We have made a report” It’s to the point where I give up with them. I supported them like fuck when they got dropped by Square and I’ve just been ignored for MONTHS. @Count.Rushmore, this is a problem on IOI’s side. Trust me when I say I’ve tried EVERYTHING to solve this problem.
It seems IOI site does not register I own Hitman II on Epic Games, although my account appears linked on my profile. I got to the guide page where I can claim locations, but they’re grayed out and I have no action available. I am totally helpless about this.
