i think you’re probably looking for the unpopular opinion thread, though do some reading on fascism first because what you’re describing isn’t it.

anyway:

…and boy are we feeling it too. wonder how the tories are going to help offset the looming energy bill crisis? they wouldn’t pay the energy companies - who recently announced record profits - billions directly and expect the public to pay it off later, would they?

yes.

Lmao.

First of all, the truckers aren’t even what the protests are about anymore, they’re now focused exclusively on overthrowing Trudeau.

They’re also blocking critical infrastructure (Ambassador Bridge, parts of the US-Canadian border), and people from the Coutts blockade had weapons, and 4 people were just charged with conspiring to murder RCMP officers.

Not to mention they’ve been terrorizing the people of Ottawa for weeks, shitting on people’s doorsteps, harassing police, you fucking name it they’ve done it.

These measures are completely justified.

I’ve never met a nice South African

Also that meme is wrong Hitler counterfeited foreign money, overprinted the Reichsmark and took out large investment loans and hoped unending European conquest would pay it all off.

Divorce is often hardest on the collections.

Prepare to see never before seen artwork as it is resold to other rich people to never be seen again until their bitter divorce.

Don’t you hate it when your ex-wife gets half your controlling share of the winery in the divorce and then she sells it to a despotic Russian multi-millionaire?

Ah yes the Rudy Giuliani School of Housing: Just keep all the obviously homeless people off the streets and don’t do anything to help them.

Interesting clip from Canada here

https://youtu.be/OXZzF7N0YXQ

A rabbit hole worth pursuing and an important reminder that these people are never operating with your best interests in mind.

A general reminder this is the General News topic.

Not the “here is my unsolicited political soapboxing that makes extraordinary claims that just happen to supportive of reactionary hate groups” topic.

That topic isn’t welcome on Hitmanforum.

I figured I should do some reality fumigation down your rabbit hole.

First, it should be noted that I couldn’t find Carrie talking about this anywhere else or this on ParlVu so I could get unclipped footage, ParlVu seems to have an issue where its streams cover 13 hour periods max, but its Feb 19th stream has ran on into the 20th waiting for the next session resulting in parts of Feb 19th being unviewable at this time. I’ll assume the clip’s real, though.

Klaus Schwab is indeed on the World Economic Forum, and has publically argued that he thinks our current system of international government is outdated- That civil society organisations or private entities like corporations will eventually get representation alongside nations. It’s pretty funny in the context of Hitman when compared to the Destiny Group.

But, I fail to see how that “agenda” is being advanced meaningfully by the Canadian government, and the idea of them dominating half the cabinet also seems like a vast, vast extaggeration. (in fact, the clip of Schwab being referred to was from 2017, prior to several cabinet shuffles from Trudeau)

The Young Global Leaders being mentioned is also a little out of context. YGL is essentially a social club with a revolving door, if you’re relatively young and accomplished enough, you might get membership, and in a similar example to the WEF they have annual meetings. I could find no indication they were an international conspiracy to control anything or any meaningful examples of that control, and in fact they seem like the lesser issue posed by the WEF.

The WEF aren’t a conspiracy puppeteering the world. They’re a bunch of rich assholes who like get-togethers where they spout buzzwords about equality and climate change, proceed to offload all responsibility for solving those problems onto poor people, and think they deserve UN representation for doing it.

And the guy asking this question is just indulging a Twitter clip circulating around the Freedom Truckers & antivax/anti mandate circles (something the twitter algorithm is head over heels for its engagement strength), and they sure as hell aren’t operating with Ottawa’s best interests at heart either. (nor do they work without the extensive funding of external entities)

Uh… speaking of the world’s economy, as it turns out the Swiss are hiding way more than we realised and it turns out Harry Lime was wrong, neutrality has way more perks than you think.
