CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS, Romania (Mission #6) - Location Discussion

Where is that commando leader located, lol…

yeah, the dream sequence is ace. very noir.

dunno about that. on professional it’s probably the easiest saso i’ve encountered. plus, there’s only one way to do it, as far as i can tell, which immediately puts it behind every other similar run.

Just checked and there really are two identically named disguises, “Providence security guard” that is. Had to make sure it wasn’t the same by changing from one to another.

Oh, really? Didn´t even notice. I thought the first one was simply “Providence guard”…

Also, in your original post, I thought that the “bodyguard” ones you were referring to were the Commandos. I keep forgeting about the handful of suited guards there are

Why do the Providence solders on the train have ICA SMGs and shotguns?

I don’t like how they put ICA meaninglessly on almost every weapon name.
I especially believe that Silverballer was the weapon that was given to the clones in the ASYLUM.
Of course, no evidence doe

I thought the same, plus most of the analysts monitors have the ICA logo on them.
I assumed story wise it is connected to Diana ‘joining forces’ with the Constant.

Good question, I haven’t found him yet, I think he must be similarly dressed as the regular commandos, save for the hat.
Will look again after work.

I thought it was obvious. Providence would have had intel on ICA’s destruction pretty much instantly since they are technically an asset. They scooped up all the computers and guns they could carry and outfitted their teams. Edwards doesn’t waste anything useful right?

If it´s any consolation (which it isn´t) to those who wanted the Romania mission to be set in the/an asylum, the file Edwards is reading contains a photo of the OG asylum (Contracts version)

And you’ll never guess what that Doctor’s name is

I´m honestly more concerned about Claudio Velotta :joy:

I thought we covered this with the Jack/Jacquline discussion :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyone else having trouble getting silent assassin or SASO on this mission? I still get 5 stars but the rating itself isn’t silent assassin, which is kind of annoying. The challenge doesn’t trigger smh

Otherwise this is a great mission to go on a rampage on. Wish we could bring our own guns or equipment

I noticed that discussion but didn´t read all of it. I consider it covered, but it doesn´t make me any less concerned

Both are easy to get here. Did you kill any non-targets? You don´t get penalized in score/stars, but you do lose SA…

He’s just going to regenerate

Im assuming that the rating you are getting is “ascender” or something like that. I got that by killing literally everyone on the train.

If you want SASO, you cant kill any providence members, despite what the game tells you. At least this was my experience

As you go through the train you get to a car with a guy studying a piece of intel and one other helmeted commando talking to him. If you wait a minute, the helmeted guy leaves. The one who is left has a normal BDU-style cap on and is studying the intel piece on the train. That’s the commando leader.

I always just shoot right away for talking shit. I should be more patient.

Damn yeah that’s probably why. Weird how the game says it’s ok but you still lose SA, I’ll have to try that.
