Yes or No...? 2

Well, I think, with 47 being a top-tiered assassin, the kind of feat that point shooting is should be a natural ability for him. I know some people wouldn’t like it - so that’s why I gave the poll option of it being a specific-weapon perk. Maybe they think it doesn’t fit, or that it’s implementing an ‘Easy Mode’… Sort of like how the Electrocution Phone was. This way, players would have the choice to take it on a mission with them.

And with all these ‘Kill `Em All’ contracts being made as of late - a point shooting ability would make these a… blast to play.

I agree that it would fit in the game as something that 47 is naturally able to do, and certainly would be utilizable during shootouts. And there are at least two situations in the game which are genuinely begging for it (the Berlin office meeting and the private meeting with Vidal in the cinema).

I feel like, Wrath not withstanding, the game isn’t about combat the way that a Red Dead Redemption is. That said, since HItman is actually a relatively poor combat game (no health buffs, no armor, “flimsy” 47, etc.), I’ve always argued that if you’re in a firefight, you’ve sort of already lost. To put mechanics in that would make it a “better” shooter doesn’t make sense to me.

Despite the plethora of guns in the game, the focus was never on shooting the bad guy - it was social stealth and being a “silent assassin”. Point shooting doesn’t have a place in that type of game (to me.)

I would like point shooting, but I doubt I’d use it very much.

I think it could work if it was limited to once per mission, zero on master. I’d love to use it in Berlin after meeting with Montgomery, and it would be fun/useful if I ever got pinned down by some guards, as I very rarely restart, improvisation is part of the fun

Mostly, the sequence of point shooting is plain awesome, and I’d rather have it than not, same thing goes for human shields

Hideout/Safehouse 47. What does he do to keep it clean? Choose up to 3.

  • Specialized air filters to reduce dust as well as pollen from the forest outside
  • A number of Roombas™ to get the floor and bullet shell casings from the firing range
  • ICA certified ‘Cleaners’. They not only take care of bodies, but dust-bunnies too
  • A maid/butler, but they’re given ‘The Serum!’ after they’re done.
  • 47 does it. Granted, he puts on a disguise to get into it, and has his trusty feather duster.

Compound questions like this are tough. Do I think IOI would be a great company to work for? Yes, absolutely. But would I want to move to Europe to work for them? No, I like my life here in Canada.

I’m just catching up in this thread…a bloody mary or a mimosa is the best breakfast drink even if they aren’t allowed in Iran.

There will never be another full on war between superpowers but it isn’t bc the superpowers themselves are “too smart for that.”

If I had any interest and skill in making computer games I would absolutely apply to work at IO; it seems like they have a good work environment.

Clearly I like the questions @Hichkas comes up with :joy: Oh and all you right handed watch wearers are nuts!!!

Hypothetically: You got the job! Now you get to move.

Assuming you’re leaving the country you currently live in - which of the 3 would you choose to move to?

  • Barcelona
  • Malmö
  • Copenhagen

I’d move to the one in Barcelona, only if given the chance to work there.

Why? Because Spanish is my main language. And I’ve heard Barcelona is a beautiful city.

I live in a desert though so the Christmas season is largely just cacti with Santa hats on them.

Unfortunately not  I decorated my flat but I guess because I’m sick I can’t really enjoy it. I hope once I feel better the festive-feeling will come :muscle:

Chanukkah is very early this year relative to Christmas. It’s actually going on right now, so it’s full swing festiveness in my house and then there will be a lull and then spool up again for Christmas.

I forced myself to decorate the tree before Thanksgiving, got myself to decorate outside my house, and I’m not feeling the festiveness of the season yet. I’m guessing it’s because of me being at work all day and not having time or energy to “stop and smell the roses”.

If a game get pulled from official stores, would it be ethically fair to download a pirated version giving that the payment for second hand copies won’t reach the devs themselves?

Yes, but only if the game is simply not obtainable by any other ways.

Yes, because my opinions on copyrights are so complicated, even I’m not sure what I believe.
