(Xbox One) Unable to play due to load error- help! :(

Hi folks

I’ve created an account on here just in hope that someone could help solve my problem, I tried the Reddit Hitman page but no one responded…

This happened a few nights ago, started it up last night, it goes to home screen, begins loading and then I was met with a message:

“Load failed. Local profile save data could not be loaded and will be overwritten. Local profile data will be restored to default values”.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the game but the same message keeps popping up, any solutions? Thanks.

I had the same problem last month, I answered to someone on reddit who also had the same problem, they said it worked:

I think I fixed it by going OFFLINE on Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and keep my games & apps. It prompted me a message asking to go online to perform the reset, I don’t remember if I canceled it or if I selected “go online”, I did NOT performed the reset. Then I went online and when I tried to open the game it worked. Hope this helps.
