I wonder if there will actually be something to go along with the Twitch Drop? Like I thought a big thing with the Purple Streak Suit was to help promote the new ET (get it? A Twitch Drop for The Drop!).

Do they want to promote people doing the challenge to get the Golden Sawed-Off-Bartoli 12G? Or is there something more coming? Oh I know! It’s to promote the exciting return of The Forger, The Collector, and The Broker!

The Drop was the only ET from 2023 not active during the Galore iirc.

But what you’ve said applies to The Heartbreaker and the upcoming The Broker, The Collector and The Forger ETs though… :joy:

Curious, I seem to remember he was available, but since I only checked the open ETs during the galore for like 2 minutes before realizing I wouldn’t be able to play any of them, it’s possible that I mistakenly thought he was among them.

Yeah Heartbreaker & co kinda feel like they’re coming for their usual seasonal vacation at that point. So much for the Forger being advertised as a “send-off” at the end of Y2 :x

Well I’d have thought IOI will be sticking to the seasonal themed content, so I guess it all depends on when it’s going to start? Technically Spring covers March, April and May, so this upcoming roadmap may likely cover all that period? The 2024 Summer roadmap will then likely cover June, July and August. Just my theory obviously.

I guess we haven’t got that long until we find out :crossed_fingers:t2:

I agree. I wish it was something very similar to the Black Bruiser suit and you had to earn it in-game and the whole process felt rewarding once you obtained it :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t we already have that? And even if not, what’s the big deal? Another shotgun that isn’t even suppressed. The stuff that has been shown to have been made for release but not released yet, that’s what I’m waiting for.

Well well, seems that we’re having another twitch drop, I would have prefered just a challenge instead because I still think doing drops for a single player game is kind of pointless, but I have to admit they’re not as annoying as I thought they would be so I don’t really mind another one.

Although I have to ask. Why this shotgun? The previous drop was cool because it was a new suit designed exclusively for that event, but now it’s just an item that’s already in the game and that can be permanently unlocked on freelancer (I know it’s not available on other modes, but still). They should keep drops limited to brand new suits, or if they are going to add items, let them at least be actually new items.

On a side note, I’m also wondering if we will also get the bunny robber suit this roadmap?

I don’t think the shotgun is a twitch drop if it was the twitch drop text would probably be above the shotgun rather than below it

Im expecting that Twitch drop to be just a purple gun or rubber duck or some crap like that. Suit would be cool tho.

Oh goodie, More Twitch shaming!

This is also “actual content”. You get a new suit/ weapon/ whatever in-game by watching X amount of minutes or hours of Twitch. That is still content, just not in the way you like it being delivered.

Hell, you can get it by leaving a tab open while doing other things. Play Hitman and do it.

It makes the game more prominent on Twitch, it lets a community flourish some more on the platform, and you get a cool reward for participating. I genuinely do not see the downside.

There is an argument to be made as to the limited nature of these things, which is a reasonable concern. Had you used that as your reasoning, I’d probably agree with you.
