Iâll need to keep that at the back of my mend, Iâd like to try more whisky. Just sadly my alcohol tolerance is really low right now, I guess because of the lung complications, so really donât want to put anymore in my system for the time being. But later down the road.
Yeah, I think Iâm still recovering. I actually think I got another cold at the start of the week, had a splitting migraine for Tuesday and Wednesday, and Wednesday night, went to bed, and aside from toilet visits and checking my phone, I ended up in bed for 24 hours, got up for 3 hours to have some early morning dinner, then went back to bed for another 12 hours. Just completely wiped the floor with me, donât know if thatâs just what happens when you get a cold or something whilst still weak. I do definetly get very tired still. Think Iâm slowly getting better, slowly getting my strength back, but then just when you think youâre doing alright something happens that just floors you and reminds you how weak you are.

Been going through one of those âfirst world problemsâ the past day over something incredibly stupid and not detrimental in the slightest.
I own a 4K OLED Samsung TV, I have had it since August of 2020 when I needed an upgrade and quite simply had to retire my old one (exposed wire, audio issues/screen burning in,etc). It was a purchase that made sense especially with the new console releases coming out at the time.
Fast forward to Spring of last year it turns out I wasnât using 4K on my TV since I manually had to set it that way my Xbox would detect it. I found it odd that it didnât auto detect, but I squashed it. Games with high fidelity options never looked so good end of story.
End of story til it wasnât. Recently I had the need to watch Star Wars Episode 1 on 4K. Since I subscribe to the corporate house of mouse streaming service and usually get billed that premium Legacy Tier a month I had access to high quality streams including 4K.
Well it turns out for some reason Xbox has issues with the Disney Plus app where it wonât detect 4K and will only go as far As HD HDR10 which is step below 4K. I tried everything high and low to make it work but nothing would budge.
Iâve tested it through the D+ TV App and behold 4K Pod Racing, Jar Jar, and âare you an angelâ dialogue in its high resolution glory. Rest assured while I get to see these glorious things with high image clarity. I find it odd that this issue on the Xbox App of the service has been going on for a bit and hasnât been addressed.

Hi-Fi Rush started pre-loading on my PS5 the other night! Wow, I nearly forgot March 19 was so soon!
And for some reason, itâll unlock to be playable at 8pm ET?? No idea what time theyâre using as the universal 12am start, but hey Iâll take being able to open the game in the early evening when I have the time to chill!

I had a great weekend & start of the week with my family. I got to visit my cousin & cousin-in-law for the first time since they had their first child. Afterwards for my Dadâs birthday we went to a play called âThe Play That Goes Wrongâ. It was a really enjoyable time as well. Then today me and my Mom watched the Taylor Swift Eras Tour on Disney+.
But now Iâm going to sleep. Retail is calling my name for the rest of the week.

Just found out that the title of the movie âChicken Runâ is in reference to the literal enclosure where the Chickens are kept during the day.
Thatâs literally what itâs called and what itâs for⌠Wow.
What is a Chicken Run?
A chicken run is a fenced-off area where chickens can roam during the day. The fencing serves two purposes with each purpose equally as important as the other. The fence keeps the chickens in as well as keeping predators out.
Some chicken keepers use the run as an area where chickens can free-range. Other chicken keepers have a run that can be used to contain chickens but they also let the chickens out of the run to free-range.

While renovating a room I found 2200 dkk (320 usd) behind a radiator. The bills are from the 90-00âs. Iâll try and visit my local bank and see if I can exchange them for the current generation of bills.

Just a random Rock Band factoid I just recently learned: the most recent (well, recent if you count 8 years ago) Rock Band title, number 4, had a pretty cool consumer-friendly feature that let you transfer old gamesâ song libraries into the new one.
This was apparently a series staple for a bit, too.
Older games came with a code tucked behind the manual for you to redeem online and get that gamesâ track list as DLC for future/past entries.
The website to access this feature has long since been wiped from the 'net unfortunately almost as long as RB4 has been around. (However, for all we know, had it still been around, the codes would probably still work! â they still do for the console marketplace codes in old âTrack Packâ dlc addition copies in the series!)
But the website codes still remain on this earth, trapped on their paper insertsâŚ
And I apparently had one of these codes this entire time and never knew!! But Iâm nearly a decade too late to use it! Wtf??
I donât recognise this paper at all and itâs apparently been sitting behind the user manual for Lego Rock Band for the PS3 THIS ENTIRE TIME??
No idea if 15-year old me would have ever been interested in redeeming this just for the hell of it, but by GOD I wish he had! (Not that I own RB4 lmao, but just knowing I could have had the chance makes it hurt so much more)

I prefer the current bills, I enjoy the danish ancient finds that grace the bills.
Asking since I donât have any idea. Do you need to exchange them for new ones? In the States, weâre free to keep using bills that are decades old if we want to (although if you get old enough, cashiers start wondering if theyâre counterfeit since they donât know what a 1960âs era hundred dollar bill looks like). Do you run into issues if you try to use older currency like that?

Mr. Norseman can still use them up until 31. of may 2025 as far as I can tell. This includes the current gen 1000 kr note that is also getting phased out.

Technically no. But as you said.
The Danish bills drastically change from series to series. I canât be bothered to deal with a cashier that doesnât recognise them and the majority of people wouldnât even know if they still hold any value. I canât be bothered dealing with this possible inconvenience. More importantly I despise physical cash. In the end I wonât even exchange them, but make a deposit.
Coins and bills are more or less alien to me. I havenât had physical cash on me for well, the last decade. Of course there are exceptions. But 99% I use my credit card.
