Made my first Nintendo eShop purchase. (Other than the online subscription thing.)

I’ve wanted to play the first game for years, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s on the Switch, bundled with Portal 2, which (for me) is stuck on my dusty old PS3. Then it went on sale for $7, making it the easiest decision ever.

Oh look these finally arrived too!

Plushy looks good quality and the duck has the accurate design to the games, but I wish it squeaked. It’s fully sealed so it can go in a bathtub I guess so that’s my fault.
Still… MERCH!

(Man, the shipping was an ordeal of waiting and uncertainty. I got it during their BOGO 50% sale. After 2 days they got the order prepped. After 3 days they finally shipped it off and gave me a tracking number, but the tracking number never worked until 7 days later! At which point it seemed to be in stasis at their shiping company’s office until it randomly showed up today.)

Then it will be either bus or train (or combined) to the hometown.
