The only exposure to Classic Who I’ve had is through this quick run-down of the major stories and events of each era.
It definitely seems like a bigger beast story-wise given that it had many multi-episode stories and TONS of companions that dipped in and out for each doctor (especially the first, wow! They really milked Hartnell for all he had – then had a neat idea of just recasting The Doc every time an actor got tired of it hah)

Yeah, it’s probably the best way of dealing with stuff is just sortof ignoring it. It’s what happened with the Doctor being half human in the TV movie. The bi-generation also annoys me, it makes regeneration basically just be magic at this point, not to mention has no cost to it. The Doctor has to regenerate, but instead of effectively dying and his body rebooting, he instead gets to keep his mind and body and gets a duplicate out of the process. I’ve seen a bunch of fans trying to justify it with their own fan theories and interpretations but until they ever confirm something, it just screams contrivence for me.
Ah well. At least the old stuff isn’t going away anytime soon.
Going back on topic, Nintendo have decided to restock a few of their Amiibo, including Joker from Smash/Persona 5. I really wanted this figurine and glad I could get at the RRP of £13, whereas if I went second hand, it would of easily been £40+. Also got the Link to tie-in with Tears of the Kingdom, so I have all 3 TotK figures now.

Sadly the IP is stuck in limbo between Activision, Warner Bros. and Fox so I doubt we’ll see the series on GOG 
It’s easier to just get the retail copies than wait for a re-release. There are community patches that make the games run on modern PCs 
Oh, sure, I mean I acquired both games (with said patches) via a community fan site anyway, but it would be nice if GOG would eventually manage to save them from the limbo. They’ve been trying at least.

I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy one of three white whales I have in terms of LEGO Sets.
Lego Star Wars #7676 Republic Attack Gunship.
This is fundamentally one of the big ones for me to get into my collection, I finally had the opportunity to get it NSIB which is my preference when it comes to retired LEGO even if it’s costly, the deal was good and I couldn’t let it go.
I now have Seven Sets left that I’ll eventually get to, but after more than a whole year without working on completing this list it’s nice to knock out one of the more expensive ones on it.
Those are gorgeous. I’d love to learn how to cook proper ramen at some point.
Do you build them or leave them sealed to preserve their value?
I buy them with the intention of building but I don’t build them right away.
While I was moving I’ve found my Slave 1 (7144) in the basement, i don’t have the original box anymore and one of the cannons is missing. Good times back then. I still have the Jabba & Leia Minifigs on his throne from the original Jabbas Palace Set sitting on my shelf
