It can be anything , small additions to the story or outright retcons and re-writtes.
My 47, at least, will change outfits as often as possible.

My head canon is that Absolution was just 47 having a nightmare or something.

Sorta the same. Absolution happened. There was a girl. Diana was a target.
The part where a bunch of ICA Commandos took over a town and then 47 still wins? That must be how 47 tells the story after too many pints at the ICA team building retreat.

That 47 only wears his black suit with red tie. And brings only his silverballer, fiberwire, lockpick and briefcase packed with a WA2000 on missions. Not all the other circus themed stuff.

47 is never in a hurry when doing his job, he does not need running around to complete his objectives because his plan is perfect. So ranking by time is completely inappropriate.

Ambrose Island was completed with the Hsu meeting and Crest as a proxy elimination.
(Ambrose is ICA sanctioned, with only Akkra as the target. Crest eliminated this way would let 47 retain his perfect record in the eyes of the ICA.)
Victoria still exists, and went though the same arc as 47. Choosing to follow the same path “because she wants to”.
She’s working in parallel to 47with Diana during Freelancer.
(and she should be made a second protagonist)
