Currently I complain about the Elusive Targets for the exact same reason I complain about the Sarajevo Six - namely that I can’t play them (except for the ETs that are released and then only while they’re public). I would prefer a special assignment level to a time-limited one that I can’t play whenever I want.
Since it’s apparently an unpopular opinion, I like the shortcuts. Never had a problem with them and I don’t believe in “immersion breaking”. You’re either into it or you aren’t. The same thing applies to movies. I don’t watch a movie and then suddenly remember that it’s a movie because the CGI is bad. An open door in an atrium doesn’t break my immersion - it’s just an open door.
I like the shortcuts but hate the keypads from H3.
I’m on a list somewhere for preferring the shortcuts.
Shortcuts not that bad, but always open shortcuts are bad.
Especially with that huge massive doors which stand out of any picture.
Keypads not my favourite either
I don’t get why the shortcut doors have to be wide open after unlocking. I know doors are a reknowned nightmare in gamedev, but after unlocking the big yellow padlock, they should be open and closing doors. Besides looking weird, a permanently open doorway isn’t as useful for gameplay
I suspect it’s a combination of factors including the making sure they’re not too exploitable, and that the inspiration for them was probably FromSoft games - in which the shortcuts are always permanently open after you open them up.
That and its probably interesting to be able to see in people’s videos if they have unlocked the shortcuts - and if so whether they choose to use them.
Personally I wish I could reset them just 'cause I find the doors etc so fun with their really extra design to make sure you know its a shortcut door and not a regular door. Kinda sad I only get to watch it happen once per door.
I have the same feeling towards challenges. Wish I could reset them. Some of them are fun to do and the only way to make sure you did the procedure correctly is that “pop” sound that only comes once.
I feel like the shortcuts would work better if the Games still would use this “career” approach like Blood Money did, with multiple profiles, instead the mastering system we have now.
Overall i like the idea of the shortcuts, but some of them feel too powerful, especially the Backdoor in Berlin.
apples should still be illegal
Why?
Easy there, CinemaSins!
I totally agree! They used to be so good too. The first ones were great, they were easy to use, you could upgrade them a thousand different ways, and they were readily repaired. Then they came out with the Macintosh and that closed architecture. Suddenly you couldn’t upgrade anything, repair meant replacing the whole thing (or going straight to Apple) and the IBM clones quickly surpassed them for everything but graphic arts. I haven’t owned an Apple since then!
ahaha as soon as i saw three replies were made, i knew i had struck a chord.
why?
it’s enjoyable. it adds an element of unnecessary difficulty while being funny
I liked the joke that a cocain brick is okay but you get shot for holding an apple.
Ah, it’s just a pressed ice. Or flour. Nothing suspicious
Let us not even talk of the bloodstained cocaine brick.
Nothing strange here sir. Just some healthy protein, iron and energy powder. In the meantime, this :
This is obviously an abomination, it is an insult to every guards on earth and you deserve to be shot by them all if they see you with one.

I think this is an unpopular opinion on this forum but I love the Santa Fortuna mission Three-Headed Serpent. It’s an amazing map. It really makes me feel like I am in a South American country and I love killing cartel members
But I would improve some things about the level though. I would make it more difficult to infiltrate the Delgado mansion and Andrea’s area. I also dislike how many clones there are especially in the village. In my opinion, many of the villagers don’t even look poor A lot of the women are wearing clean clothes and sneakers
Courtesy of their benefactors, the glorious Delgado cartel (or maybe the local women are just damn good at doing laundry
)
