I just found out Hitman Blood Money and Absolution HD pack are on a 80% discount in the PlayStation store, as we speak! I just bought them for €12,99.
This might have been said already but in Holiday Hoarders’ contracts mode Diana still says “Target Down” whenever you eliminate the two main targets. Even it they aren’t targets in the contract.
IIRC in Freelancer Sapienza (could also be the case in contracts too when I think about it), if you spook Caruso and trigger his escape she will say “you need to hurry, the target is escaping” despite him not being the actual target
Header image for Hitman WoA on Steam got updated for Easter season.
During the news report on the TV of the living room, in the house in Whittleton Creek that’s hosting a party, there is a news story about a “Gorka” painting involving a blank canvass had been revealed to be a fake. The bio for Kalvin Ritter states that the client for the contract found that Ritter had sold them a fake Gorka, and that’s why they asked ICA to take him out. Is this the same one that appears in the news story, finally revealed publicly to be fake after all this time? Is it a different one, also revealed to be fake? And in either case, we’re one of WoA’s many art-themed Elusive Targets (The Forger, The Broker, The Appraiser, The Collector, The Ascensionist) somehow involved?
Probably not, I think the Gorka theft is mentioned in The Ark Society, I believe it is supposed to foreshadow their theft of famous works for their rich bitch time capsule. An artist can have more than one painting, even Rauschenberg had no less than seven pieces of his Whites Series.
Right, but WoA has a habit of circling back to prior stories and events of the series or even the game itself. The news report is, after all, detailing some of the eventualities of actions taken prior in the game, and features a target who was also the former boss of Jasper Knight from the other ICA test, and another who was apparently present during the White House mission in Blood Money. The mission is loaded with “Remember This?” moments. What are the odds that an incident of a fake Gorka painting is unrelated in the face of that?
Plus, who is to say that The Forger didn’t create the fake Gorka, give the real one to The Broker, who sold it to The Appraiser, who then turned it over to the Ark Society, and The Collector is the one who hired Kalvin Ritter to steal the Gorka for him, but didn’t know it had already been swapped with a fake, which is what Ritter ended up stealing, and so The Collector put the hit on Ritter, thinking he deliberately stiffed him? With how much they’ve made WoA tie together, such a scenario would not surprise me.
I think this is the first concept art from hitman 3 i have seen. Its from the wiki page about freelancer
In Dubai, you can blend in security room as both white guard and black guard (can’t remember their names)
If you distract either of food vendors in stands nearby harbor, they’ll have a smoke break.
If you panic guy that got KO’d, he’ll walk to spot where he was lying injured, doing flamingo walk, seemingly fine (tho I think I remember that one from @CHAOS_AGENT_45’s video
NOTE: In order for food vendors to have a cig, you need to take their place, as they serve customers.
In Paris, you can blend in as Palace Staff on first floor, where you are not allowed. It is meant to be for Auction Staff, but prompt shows “Palace Staff”. Similarly to two guards disguise in Dubai, they use same code for disguise, or something like that.
The Curator will have unique dialogue if you destroy heart for Soders, while he is looking away.
Yup, it’s The Appraiser who was involved.
The reason Jamison’s on the island is to present that particular painting to Nathaniel Blake. She supposedly stole it from an Ark member and wants to give it to Blake to gain favors with the Ark Society from him. The painting seems to be the real deal instead of a fake, and it shows up in the level being inspected by the Ark storage people inside the chapel, next to Jamison’s book. They’re preparing to hang it on the musem gallery area on the wall where The Scream used to be, while Blake is inspecting the Montezuma Necklace nearby.
I vaguely remembered all of that fromhaving first played this ET many years ago. I had to rewatch the dialogues video from Euler to confirm cause my memory was hazy, and lo and behold it’s all there…
Also a new thing I just found: Jamison briefly references HAVEN Island at one point during the mission.
At seen in this part in Euler’s video. She calls someone, tells them that one of her fellow art thieves needs a new identity, and she suggests using “those people in the Maldives” referencing HAVEN’s services. For context Jamison was the second ET for H2 released in early 2019 while HAVEN was DLC released in mid-2019, so it’s cool that they were already teasing that level at that point. Very discrete way to do it though, nice subtle worldbuilding nonetheless.
Snailbomb can apparently sedate NPCs through walls.

Mission: The Undying ET
47 can sit in the meeting room dressed as Timothy Yu. Faba will do his meeting as expected and will talk to 47 like usual (when faba asks for murder methods).
Funny enough, when the meeting is over, Faba says he will discuss with Timothy Yu in the lab, even though the false Yu (47) is right ahead of him.
During my peregrination, I’ve found other things during this mission:

Mission: The Undying
- A McInnis’ notebook about Knox is present in a room (the one 47 can reach by using a keycard close to the marina). The document is pretty well hidden, on the top of a cupboard.
Here is from Hitmaps to show where it is:
-
A researcher’s disguise is also present in the same room. I didn’t test if this disguise was present in the regular mission. But this disguise doesn’t show up on Hitmaps.
-
A striker is present in the security office of Kronstadt (on level 3, where the camera recorder is present).
-
A picture of the Undying is present in Knox’s office, by the dongle. This picture is useful to kill the Undying with the Android in the laboratory.
On Hokkaido, bodyguard Junya Andou has changed model since H2016:
On Colorado, changes to graphics have arguably ruined Joshua Trumbo’s denim jacket. It appears more shiny today, even though the H3 image doesn’t do a very good job at visualising it.
I don’t see any differences except maybe hairdo
In the 1987 James Bond film The Living Daylights, there’s an assassin character a bit like 47 called Necros. He uses disguises to infiltrate places and his signature weapon is a pair of earphones he uses to strangle people.
The best part is that Necros is dubbed by Kerry Shale, the voice actor for 47’s creator, Ort-Meyer. Interesting coincidence…
That is what I meant.
It also happens to be the movie where 47’s signature sniper rifle makes a prominent appearance I guess someone on the C47 team really liked it?
If you kill Mark Faba with the bomb on the table (via the detonator in the cabinet), it counts as an accident kill and you won’t lose SA. I did not know that!
