thank god.
Right?! Totally ruins the balance of the game!
If I read one more person on here talking about the game’s motherfucking balance… there’s pretty much nothing I can do about it!
Looking at how 47 climbs railings, jumps window sills and even some roofs, his balance is pretty good
I was revisiting the wrath escalation, and the inhibitors are given names (taken straight from actual guards from the levels). Wave 1 has Hawke’s Bay guards misnamed with German ones, but more interestingly wave 3 names some of the guards in Romania. They’re mostly British/American with some European ones but the two that stick out the most are Travis Scott and Orson, who just can’t seem to dodge 47 even in dream sequences.
Kindly ignore it if this is already found out by someone in the old forum -
Steps:
Limitation:
-
Loading the game with already loaded cannon with Gunpower and Cannonball does not work, as these objects (Gunpower and Cannonball) inside the cannon are not loaded in the game from a save file
Update - Solved in Patch 3.130 -
Everyone starts suspecting you as if you have triggered the real cannon infront of them
Logic:
The Explosive when blasted, explodes the bag of gunpowder and shoots the cannonball.
Wish I’d remembered this though (well, I did, but in testing a nearby NPC never went “I seeee you” and started staring at me)…
Map: Sapienza
Mission: World of Tomorrow
H1 Pro mode (“master”): There is no camera recorder in the city hall. In the room above Bravuomo’s office, the camera recorder is absent and there is no guard. Moreover, there are no CCTV in the city hall.
H3 Master mode: The camera recorder is present and a guard is facing it. CCTVs are present in the city hall.
This modification changes a lot the strategy between H1 and H3 on master mode.
In H3, you can first destroy the camera evidence for a SASO run before entering the mansion. This way, you don’t need to bother about cameras within Caruso’s property. In H1, it’s not possible, and you must destroy the CCTVs during your SASO run inside the mansion.
@BlobSponge
In H1 for a brief time there was actually different camera zones in Sapienza. Destroying the recorder in the church would have no effect on Villa Caurso and vice versa.
I was super excited when I first realised this and totally bummed when they changed it.
You can also fire a loaded cannon if you shoot the back end of it. I think I tried killing ‘The Twin’ (like in BluntzNBeatz vid) but sniped it (I think) from the Caruso mansion attic. I could be wrong, tho.
@Tetrafish_21 @Urben that’s awesome !!
I discovered while I was working on Farah from the Ambrose Ruins. Was loading the cannon to target her, then a guard appeared, propaned him beside the cannon and then a non-target kill and door unlocked appeared, took 10 mins to know what really happened Missed to search this in youtube.
Did you have the save file issue in previous installment?, when I load the cannon and save it, then load the game the explosion does not work on the cannon?
I think that was always the case with Save/Load cycles.
Before that cannons did not even require to be loaded. Resulted in a fun contract on Landslide where you shot the out-of-reach cannon. Also shooting an auto gun made the cannon fire rapidly as well.
I don’t know why but I really appreciated that Diana said “targets down” when you got them both simultaneously; IO’s general attention to detail regarding things that are incredibly unlikely to happen continues to astound me!
Speaking of Farah, but unrelated to cannon fire, did she always have a moving path? In my first play throughs of Ambrose, she was always stationary in front of her bar. When I fired it up recently, she was walking through and in front of it. The only thing that changed on my end is that I did her quests. Did that change her patterns or did IO and I missed it?
Just found out when you knock someone out with a spray can 47 automatically drops it after the Animation.
An old friend is in Wrath escalation
And in the ultimate joke they decided to include cameras in Dartmoor in just this escalation -_-
Beat you on that one
Oh wow, weird we both looked at that escalation in the past day
This thread gets too many comments that I don’t bother going through most of them
Today, I heard the female version of “hmm … interessante” for first time.
I believe that they’re there to explain why you can see the guards coming through an entrance.
