I was playing The Passquel Consortium escalation (Mendoza, all targets must be killed by the snipers), and noticed a few things.
One complication states that all bodies must be hidden. If I have a target shot in a flower field by the snipers, it counts as hidden. However, if I pacify a non-target and drag it into the flower field, it does not count as hidden. This is a bit confusing.
The roof is odd too. As soon as a target is thrown on it, it already counts as hidden. But then I can’t drag it, or even scan it for the snipers and thus, kill it properly. At the same time, the mission does not fail.
Despite these flaws, it’s one of the few escalations I still enjoyed.
Edit: I’m playing the mission again right now. It took the snipers 3 shots to kill a target. I thought it was always a 100% kill. It was seen, but sill counted as an accident.
So awhile ago I had the (stupid) thought - “I wonder what shows up on the main menu where the Featured Contracts are if you do them all”. So I went through and did every last one to find out. A neat button shows up that takes you straight to Contracts mode. Which will actually be quite handy to have (if I maintain all FC’s completed).
But was it worth the time investment? Probs not, but here we are.
The funny thing is that as soon as I saw it, the memory of it being the Contracts Mode button in the past in one of the previous games before there were FC’s came back.
Be cautious! After seeking for intel in Director’s office, you must hear (or read) Diana’s findings during her dialogue. Because the intel isn’t filed in the intel folder in the options.
During my first run, I didn’t hear Diana. When I opened the intel, nothing ! I had to restart the mission.
That outfit reminds me, the morgue doctors are supposed to have a “visor mask” but since the model doesn’t have materials applied it renders invisible (though can be seen in Instinct), I restored it by adding more proper materials
