Yes, the challenge should be made available today. These weekly updates are usually changed at 12 p.m. UTC, just like when ET arrives, then leaving 10 days later at the same time. So it should happen an hour later.
And today is the date which Hokkaido becomes available for free for the next 10 days too.
They are also “tasty weapon”, I suppose
Seems like the new suit, the Polar Survival suit, functions like the Buccaneer in Hitman 2.
For example, in Paris, this suit doesn’t grant access to the auction even though 47 is carrying the CICADA invitation. 47 is trespassing with this suit in auction floor.
Will check if the enforcer in the bar is present or not with this suit.
Also, it needs to check with other situations like the enforcers in Mumbai.
That something I like, because it adds some varieties to the suit. In Paris, a SASO run requires to use another route to get access to Dalia.
In the future, maybe this situation will be fixed, like it was for the White Ninja suit.
A few more things I learned during my “Ice Cold Cowboy” misadventures in Hokkaido earlier:
If you drop the temperature in the room with the replacement heart, this is where those two bodyguards go.
The morgue doctor with the mood altering chip implant has some… uh, “interesting” friends.
Last, but certainly not least, it seems that there’s at least one thing 47 can’t do.
Wait what? How do you do that?
This is something about hitman I’ve just found out.
First, get a morgue doctor or the hospital director disguise so you can enter without hackers or the guy with the mood implant.
Then go behind the thing with the heart in it. On the other side, there’s a valve similar to the one to raise the temperature of the spa to clear it for the yoga kill except this one lowers the temperature in the room, which causes the guards to leave.
Make sure to have a wrench, otherwise you won’t be able to interact with the prompt.
I think that makes two of us

I really hope they don’t “fix” this. Will be so cool to create contracts with this suit.
But does this new suit come with a bugged kill requirement in contract mode? Something like when the Summer Suave suit was introduced in H2 but later fixed? Or like the Kotti Paradigm which only allows you to use the Signature Suit?
Speaking of New York, I shot Athena through her mirror with an unsilenced pistol, but none of the guards were alerted. Might be a bug.
Haven’t tested this suit, yet. Will try it later today.
Perhaps it’s on purpose? (i.e. the room is soundproof?)

I made the same accidental discovery too. In case you missed it, they also added two new challenges to Berlin. Rave On (get the music to a climax as DJ) and Who’s Sniping the Sniper? (headshot the agent next to the sniper rifle). I seem to recall that I’d already done these - at least I had everything to 100% - but they were marked as incomplete and I had to redo them again.
If I remember correctly I already did those. But will check again…
