Would be interesting having both men work for 47 at his new home.

Absolutely loved what I’ve seen of the safe house so far, the architecture and interiors in the trilogy has been an unexpected personal highlight for this design nerd, so it’s good to see 47’s home living up to that.

Echoing the thoughts of others, it’d be nice to see snippets of his life there, whether it be 47 on the piano or Diana popping over with a bottle of Malbec.

I want a lemonade stand where he tricks people into a slapping contest

On a serious note I will decorate how I imagine he lives, so it’ll be hard to go for anything too novelty.

I imagine he’s a bit old school. Bauhaus, wine and Opera

Sorry to have to be the one to crush your dreams, but in the words of Clemens: ā€œMastery will over time unluck things like the upper levels of our safehouseā€¦ā€ (5 min mark) Furthermore, the plane icon by the door in the basement tells me that you won’t have access to the upper floors from the beginning.

Sigh. Once again, I said walking around the property. Meaning whatever is available to us at the beginning. Any rooms that are open, any of the paths outside, whatever we can get. I know all the rooms won’t be available at first, folks. Read what was said, not what you think I meant.

Fair enough. You wrote this, so I’m just pointing out that we probably won’t have anything to explore but the basement at the start. That’s how I understand the trailer.

If we can’t invite Agent Smith over for whiskey and cigars, IOI has completely failed with Hitman 3: Freelancer.

I’m thinking we’ll probably get that Christmas card that Smith mentioned (unless he forgot to add us to the list). Would be pretty funny to see.

I don’t think he’ll be in person because 47 specifically said for him to never do that ever again. But it would be pretty funny (and less lonely)

I really hope that’s not the case though. I tease, but there’s some novelty with Heisenberg’s want to walk around an empty house and get a feel for what the potential of this massive secret mansion could be.

But I agree that we may only get access to the basement when starting up the mode for the first time. (Which would be very weird. Who on earth buys a house only to live in the dingy, gray basement for a while?)

My (WoA) Agent 47 would never live in such a dark, window-less place! Because this version has style and standards! :triumph:

To add a rebuttal to this point I made, there’s a good chance we might actually have to get to the basement and Freelancer board, to start our first mission.
Given how IOI really dove into scripted sequences for Hitman 3, there’ll probably another Berlin or Dubai-esque opening to the mode that introduces you to the locked-up, empty house, before transitioning into the Basement Safehouse & Target List proper.

Or, they just spawn you in the basement and it’ll take a mission or two before you can visit the upper floors :man_shrugging:

Hey, Blood Money 47 had standards! He even said so, and it was as follows:

Give me the money upfront. If you’re on the level, I’ll do the job. If not, you won’t be needing the money.

His standards were, ā€œfucking pay me.ā€ Living in a dingy basement wouldn’t be a concern.

I wonder like how much IOI have applied their swiss cheese design to this safehouse. Because they don’t need to in order to make it work as a hub world but I feel like they’ll probably go all out and make this a fun area to explore in itself and maybe even dare I say it potential for use in missions?

Yea, a small mission in the house would be cool. Even if it was as simple as Nightcall.
