Sgail’s a fun map to get items to fill for your Freelancer wall. Did a Leader showdown yesterday and got away with the Silenced HWK21 (found by digging with a shovel on the giant sewer room), the katana and burial blade (found in the storage building cates), and the sable (shot it off the wall in Edwards’ office). I think I could have gotten the Mace and Broadsword too (both found in the upper floor penthouse) but I was also carrying a shotgun on my briefcase so I couldn’t take them…

How is sgail Island rated for you now? Did you pay attention to the existence of this post? A conversation with sgail fans who consider this map to be among the top 3 maps
I don’t know what you mean, but if you’re a fan, is there even a question worth a poll which is better - the thing you’re a fan of or the other random thing?
If you’re a true fan, there musn’t be any question.
Your fanaticism is in question otherwise

Hmm, I made a group where we can easily share his strengths and even weaknesses from sgail fans. These polls were for this purpose. I wanted to see what are the weaknesses of sgail from the point of view of the fans of this map; But you and your ilk have problems with sgail based on the map and available space, that’s why I don’t want them to participate.
My goal in this review was to assess whether fans might find a map or even two maps better than sgail, and I wanted to know why. I wanted to understand sgail’s weaknesses from the words of his fans
My comment was just a little joke 
But I would suggest that, if you post a poll on a public forum, you should expect the public will vote on that poll. And, in the case of Isle of Sgail, the consensus view you will find amongst Hitman fans is that it does not match up to Sapienza, Miami, New York or Mendoza in quality.
If you’re looking to speak only to people who place Isle of Sgail in their “top 3 maps”, as your topic post suggests, you’ll struggle to find anyone but yourself who holds that view on this forum.

I never said I was a major Sgail fan all I did was point out how cool it was that it has so many weapons in Freelancer. I like the map a lot but to call it top 3? Especially when Sapienza, Miami and others exist? Sorry but I rank it as a top 15 map at best. Number 11 to be precise.

People usually don’t like the complexity and ambiguity and many secrets, but Hitman is a complicated game; At least I, who consider Hitman to be the best game and have played it a lot, have this opinion; A map in Hitman is considered a masterpiece if it contains enough complexity and mystery, but sgail Island takes the complexity to another level; A level that is really hard; But this difficulty is enjoyable for me; This map can be played many times and discover something amazing every time; Very beautifully designed environment and music!! Music is a masterpiece; In my opinion, everything in this map is perfect, and we have a challenging and attractive Illuminati mission

You make good points and I’m glad to hear you enjoy Isle of Sgail so much. One of the beauties of Hitman WoA’s structure - an anthology of distinctive sandbox maps - is that there’s lots of distinctive elements which can appeal to people in all kinds of ways.
I certainly agree that Isle of Sgail has a great mysterious atmosphere with lots of details to uncover. And, yes, it’s cool to have a mission which leans into the aesthetic of infiltrating an Illuminati-esque ‘eyes wide shut’ party.

The dungeon area with all the guards would be likened to the Meat King’s party if this were made 20 years ago. And probably be decorated similarly to the Lust 7DS.
Eh, but anyway. I’m wondering why hitman_fan didn’t just have their username as esgil_fan when they registered. Getting troll vibes. Probably an Alt of that TaylorSwiftFan or whoever.

Thank you, I meant from the previous answer that this map is rejected by people because of the complex and mysterious atmosphere and of course the difficulty, which is the hardest map after Colorado. While in my opinion, these are very positive points of a map in Hitman (the map would be funny if it wasn’t difficult), in general Esgil Island is very special and I consider this specialness superior and I love it.

It is very sad that sgail Island was eliminated from the competition; At that time, I hadn’t arrived yet and me didn’t make a specific defense plan
