Nice! ER was a pretty fun plat IMO, nothing too tedious. I definitely wouldn’t have found some of the spells if my mate hadn’t told me though (cries in Sellia Hideaway).
oh i looked up the legendary stuff. i don’t do ‘collectibles’ without a guide after i went through hell finding all the pigeons in gta iv back in the day. life is too short.
Meanwhile in DS3, I managed to kill Abyss Watcher with help from some of his clone, however he is ressurected - what the hell he is still aluve with fire power.
This is not Sekiro and I should get a chance to ressurect like him.
Any idea how to beat him ?
Parries and backstabs are your best friend in that fight (especially once red-eyed bro shows up in Phase 1, as he’ll leave the others open). The Abyss Watchers don’t have too much HP, so try to be aggressive before they drain your health/Estus and play it safe towards the end if you need to.
Meanwhile I beat Abyss Watcher (Brother of Malenia) - fight was good, thank you for the tips, had to upgarde to level 60.
Then beat High King of Wolnir (he was easier than Abyss Watcher) - with this opened up the world - Catacombs of Carthus, Irthyll Valley, Irthyll Dungeon, Propane Capital and a lot more of place to explore.
I am loving this game so much - need to complete as much before Tuesday as Ambrose Island is on priority.
I felt the Dark Souls 3 map is as big as Elden Ring, maybe bigger.
Excellent job ashen one! And the map might feel big but think of it as different levels
I avoid to go Firelink Shrine often because of the below Nightmare Dialogue - I am sure you might have felt the same LOL
a month ago, I started this third playthrough. And know I’ve finished my third sekiro playthrough.
Is the game still absolutely phenomonal, yes.
Will i return to it to finish the mortal journey and get all achievements, yes but not right after this playthrough.
My plan now is to grind to get the height of technique achievement. Then finish mortal journey, then do my fourth and final playthrough where I do everything. And if I do that I’ll have perfected sekiro.
What amazing journeys it have been.
In other news about things i didn’t have the time to finish. Elden ring 100% which I’ve done now!
Edith finally became elden lord and gave me my final achievement. Though I’ll most likely finish every single dungeon, cave and pick up every item with harry to be ready for the dlc. Iam currently finished with elden ring. what a fantastic game, still.
looks like a david bowie post nuclear sunbed (great name for a band btw). by which i mean: awesome.
Edith Eichenburk isn’t a looker, then again neither was Harry Nagbottoms
what part of post nuclear tanned bowie suggests they aren’t a looker? she looks baller!
first off, a little test to see how well youtube renders raw sekiro fights, i probably shouldve encoded in premiere first but that crashed my fucking pc and i just wanted to get something out. so heres a shit inner father fight to test if i wanna make a general tips for every sekiro boss video.
secondly, the online features for dark souls 3 pc have been restored, which is fucking amazing.
You are a honest player Khaki unlike me I saved the game just before the ending, copied to computer. Copied back to PS and reused the save file multiple times to acheive different endings/trophies.
Finally did another video on a sekiro boss that went from one of the most difficult ones to a near joke for me
Well, Elden Ring did us proud and won four game awards: Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction and Best RPG. I think they were all well deserved, and I don’t think that the game should have won any other categories (a lot of them were a toss up between ER and God of War).
I wonder if their next game will be aimed at such a wide audience; they’ve just widened their fanbase substantially and probably don’t want it to shrink again. If their next project is as massive, we’ll be waiting for a while.
The updates for Elden Ring itself have been pretty good, and a new PvP arena mode (very similar to those of the Dark Souls trilogy, DS3 especially) came out a couple of days ago, albeit with some questionable balance changes. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that we can expect a full DLC sometime next year, if previous releases and sales are anything to go off of.
