It seems that your previous assassination really scared the remaining generals. They have all begun their own investigations into what happened. Our client is pretty unhappy about this. We need to stop these generals fast.
We’ve received information that one of them — General Makarov — is to meet a local mafia boss to buy some protection and hopefully info on who could have carried out the hit.
They have a preferred meeting point in Kirov Park — nice, secluded and out in the open. We’ve got some old spy footage of them meeting previously for your reference.
Our intelligence says they are scheduled to meet in Kirov Park at 1400 hrs today, local time — check out your map.
They will both be arriving in armoured Zil-115 limos, but in separate motorcades. Watch out for roadblocks and patrolling guards.
You will find your equipment down by the pier. 47, I repeat — intercept the meeting and eliminate both targets.

Objectives:
1.Kill General Makarov.
2.Kill his Mafia connection, Igor Kubasko.
A great level that aims to teach you multiple ways of scripted assassinations. You could go the sniper route, which was introduced to you in the previous stage, but the sniper spots are far harder here. They’re either far away, or have troublesome enemies that will swarm you fast when you take your shot. I found Sniper Assassin to be a bit of a pain, mainly because the best position to do it is pretty far away - meaning you really have to save scum to get that shot down.
The better approach is by using the car bomb, which can be placed under the cars using the sewer network or getting close to them. I’ve always loved the car bomb method, which is why I adored the speedrun method that blows up the first car so fast that the second target shits himself and falls out of his car across the map. Nice fast double kill!
I dont replay this mission much, as I find it a bit too large and restrictive. I think it’s by far the weakest of the H2 Russia levels.
However, it does have perhaps the best sniper shot in the entire series: Perched on the radio tower, far away, taking both targets out with a single shot, and then disappearing into the sewers with the guards none the wiser.
If this was WoA, the second you fired a shot, every guard on the map would instantly swarm to your exact location!
I think this one might be my favorite mission. I love how grounded it feels. Car Bomb and sniper are such classic assassination methods. My personal favorite method is to mix and match because it feels the most complete. I put a bomb on the generals car, and then snipe the mob guy. When the general runs to escape he blows up. It’s so satisfying.
Yeah the music is awesome. It almost feels like it’s timed intentionally because when you watch the general get out of the car with the binoculars at the start, his getting out of the car and walking feels like it’s timed to the music
