Hey guys, new here. I came here to post updates on my adventure to create a game-accurate krugermeier 2-2 dark! So far, I have bought the game accurate lower and suppressor. I bought a Ruger MK IV Tactical for that luger style grip that has appeared in all of the krugermeiers. I also recently got the Q Erector 22 suppressor for the project. This has all cost me a pretty penny, especially as a college student, but I think its worth it! I really hope you guys think its as cool as I do. I am also in the process of 3d printing the same grips seen in the game too, I have been teaching myself CAD just for this reason. I have made a replica Executive briefcase as well to hold it in. After I am done with the grips, I have to figure out a way to purchase the last part, which is to get that barrel in the game. I need a receiver from a specific model of the Ruger MK IV 22/45 LITE handgun. It will run me about 500 bucks so I am not sure if I can finish the project unless I find a way to get that money. Here are the pics!
Awesome! I’m going to post an in-game pic for comparison purposes.
Having done some work on a certain sword from a certain MG related game, and obsessing over accuracy - I searched for (and found) a model from the game.
Anyway… I would wonder if there’d be a way to rip the model from the game files?
Or would that be cheating?
Yes here is the grip model I have so far:
Its never cheating! hahaha, Ill have to watch a youtube video and maybe figure out if thats possible!
If you are able to import it to a modeling or CAD program - the first task will be setting the scale. If you don’t know (say) the length of the gun - you might have to go by some other part that you can match in real life. Such as the medallion on the grip could be 3/8 of an inch in diameter (maybe you use metric, but you get the idea), then that should define all other dimensions.
You likely knew all that already, but I thought I’d put it out there for anyone else who might try such a thing.
