Yeah… he basically ran out into the open fields when all he had to do was wait for the air support…
To improve on this, the HITMAN 4 launch should go by with everything working on day 1! 
But seriously, they have to consider the possibility of “force baselining” all of us when we get to the next HITMAN game. Kind of like what they did this time with H2016 (all Legacy/Access content is standardized now to GOTY Edition). So they could say come up with a HITMAN 4 DEFINITIVE EDITION, and what this does is that basically it’s an 85 - 90 USD “all in/everything together” SKU, and the idea is rather than Access Pass this or that… All of us are just meant to get H4 DEFINITIVE and in the check out we’re shown a discount for each part of it we already own.
H1 GOTY was already compressed into this cycle (ergo: H1 COMPLETE FIRST SEASON no longer exists). Similarly H2 Standard/Expansion is phased out and all H2 is just GOLD EDITION from that point onwards. Anybody basically who owns H2 Standard gets upgraded to Gold in H4. All H3 owners upgraded to H3 Deluxe within H4 DEFINITIVE.
When that’s over 99% of HITMAN population should be H4 DEFINITIVE and most of us would have the same SKU configuration and a much more compact SKU total.

What ever they did to fix the PS4 issues completely shut out PS5. It was working, spotty but could connect sometimes, now nothing, no connection for 3 days.
I thought the server was fixed for everyone. I have no issues. But, It’s sad to see there are still people who have problems with game’s server.

For anybody on PS5, check if the issue isn’t the PS5 itself. I’ve had a huge amount of issues with the Internet freezing whilst showing as connected, solely on the PS5. Forcing a 2.4 GHz connection in the settings might help, as 5 GHz support seems to be patchy. Having said that, it doesn’t seem to completely eliminate the problem, forcing you to restart the console.

Platform: PS5 (Disc) (Pre-order Deluxe Edition)
I pre-ordered Hitman 3 Deluxe Edition on disc for the PS5. I got the game to work the first few days but not all of the pre-order and deluxe content was showing. I thought if I gave it a few days the bugs would work out. However, as of Jan 27 early morning I have not been able to connect to the game at all. So now I have a $80 paperweight.
Description : Startup the game. It begins connecting to the server, then a message shows up saying: “Connection Failed. Unable to connect to the HITMAN server. Failed to fetch online resources from the HITMAN server.”
Steps to reproduce: Try to connect
Frequency : Always since Jan 27 7am PST
It’s been nearly impossible to play on these servers for the last week. My internet is ok, and different consoles work fine with other games so it has to be their servers. Navigating menus takes minutes to load and often gets disconnected. Also bumps me back a few menus costing 5-10 minutes. Gameplay if possible will always get disconnected multiple times.
It wasn’t extremely bad for me before this week. I mean, it was bad like everyone else was experiencing, but it’s gotten much worse. For this to be my favorite game ever, it’s quickly turning into my worst experience with a game ever. Connectivity has been rough since launch but I’ve been patient with them, now it’s frustrating torture.
When the Feb 23 patch happened…that was the last day I could connect to their servers. I’m on (PC/Epic) I have had to play offline since. A real bummer. I’ve emailed IOI twice, messaged TravisIOI, made several posts on here, Discord, and REDDIT. Not even a “Man we’re sorry you are experiencing this” or “we’re looking into it” message from anyone associated with this shit show.

Maybe this has been asked, not sure. I recently got a PS5, had been playing H3 on my PS4. Got everything from the PS4 moved over just fine to the PS5, but the connectivity to the Hitman servers playing the PS4 H3 on the PS5 is awful. I’ve completed The Stowaway about a dozen times and every time I exit the mission the connection the servers drops and won’t/can’t reconnect to the servers. I tried restarting the game, the console, checking the internet connection - nothing worked. Any similar issues or problems? I’d rather not have to fork out for the PS5 version of the game when the console is supposed to be backwards compatible.
EDIT: I upgraded to the PS5 edition, still having the same issue. I thought I’d check to see if maybe it was just the ET, but I cannot complete a mission period. I tried a main mission, a contract, and the ET a few more times and as soon as I exit the mission, my connection to the servers is lost and my only choice is to go to the menu after waiting and trying to reconnect multiple times. Any ideas or anything? The game is unplayable now, this is the only hitch I’ve had in moving everything over to my PS5 
I can’t speak to the connection issues, but you shouldn’t have to “fork out” for the PS5 version of H3. The upgrade is free.
Edit: Unless you have a physical copy on PS4 and a disc-less PS5.
I wasn’t aware there was a free upgrade, I’ll have to check. I did that for Watch Dogs Legion & Miles Morales, I will try that.
EDIT: nope, I have the disc copy of the game and a disc PS5
