I simply wanted to pop in here to introduce myself, as I started working with IOI a few months back now. I am part of their Social Media team as a global content creator. Meaning I will be helping Samir (aka Combatglue) with creating and doing posts – mainly on Instagram and TikTok.
My name is Katrine, and I’m so excited to connect with you all! Before working for IOI I’ve done a number of other things. I have a background in journalism and started my career as a reporter for GameReactor in Denmark and later as an esports reporter for ESL. I’ve also worked as a journalist at the Danish TV channel called Glad, working with reporters who have disabilities. But now I’ve found my way back to the games industry - and boy, have I missed it!
Gaming has always been a big part of my life – from helping me learn English as a kid, to being my safe space through it all. I play anything from horror games, immersive RPGs to cozy farming sims. I’m nothing, if not versatile The only thing I haven’t mastered though is being stealthy in Hitman – or any other game for that matter! If Agent 47 is the cool collected hitman, I guess that makes me the wrecking ball sidekick, constantly ruining it for him. But I am in constant awe of the ingenuity of our community, seeing how you solve the tasks the game puts in front of you. So, I look to every one of you for inspiration, when creating social media posts, that will hopefully leave a smile on your faces or even rope you right back into the game
On the forum here, I would love it if you would tag me in anything you think could be a fun thing for our Socials. Maybe you have a compilation we can repost, a content creator we should collab with or highlight, a crazy theory we can dive into, an intriguing easter egg or something else entirely. I would love to shine the spotlight on every one of you, because the creativity in our community really deserves the attention. So any and all ideas are welcome!

I guess you will contact people via direct messages if you intend to use media posted here for social media? To be sure that is consensual. At least that is how I remember it with one occasion on reddit.
Welcome! Glad you enjoy the unnecessary but cool creativity in exploring the unconventional ways of completing missions that the community explores - it’s what makes Hitman such an amazing series to me and the community one of the coolest.

But for Easter Eggs, a few years back IOI released a Shirt with design referencing 24 of them.
It was fun to identify them, one of them in at the time unreleased map.
Maybe a good template for a series of shorts? (I’m certain the original design is in the IOI offices)
