0.9.10 - SMF Hotfix

Just a little update to make the mod work with the version of SMF that just released within the past hour

Changelog:

  • Fixes deploy errors on latest version of SMF
  • Removes two clones in Midday Mendoza (Thanks to @Raisu for reporting)
  • Fixes bad sky in World of Tomorrow - Night (Sapienza)

Available in autoupdate and Nexus. Make sure you get the very latest update of SMF that was released in the past hour

Are there any visual guides that contains images of each variant? To help choosing a config from piepieonline. If not, I can make one but for that I will have to play night time missions, avoiding which is my primary use of this great mod.

Thereā€™ll be a lot of overlap between this mod and Time Of Day Mod. But also new stuff that will eventually be ported over

Youā€™re saying you want a visualiser on the website?
I donā€™t know if Piepie has the kind of hosting capacity for that many images, or the UI design for the pictures to be integrated properly lel

UPDATE: @AAofCAT Mr piepie has informed me he can put up a simple visualisation on the website when you hover over each option. I will go through the process of taking appropriate pictures for each variant. I think about half will be done tonight (the ones where I already took pics for ToD Mod and promo shots for this mod)

Interesting, but none of my Paris variants change Showdown targets or their paths, so I believe youā€™ve found a vanilla bug!

New incompatibility found: Better Starting Locations Online

Both of them have the same file to undo the deletion of regular Dartmoorā€™s spawns. But SMF is not smart enough to ignore something thatā€™s already been undeleted by one mod, so it refuses to deploy because it thinks it canā€™t find the thing to delete when itā€™s second modā€™s turn. Technically possible for me to come up with a convoluted solution on BSLOā€™s side, butā€¦ I canā€™t be arsed, so just turn it off.

Have added an ā€œIncompatibilitiesā€ section to OP and will update it as more mods are found and confirmed.

That version is blinding my friend, Iā€™m sure itā€™s out there but it is very risky for your eyeballs

Paris with a noontime sky. In the basement security room (and maybe a few other locations, but this seems to be the worst) Itā€™s way too dark on the other side of the room.

Not real sure this was this best topic to post this in, but I am using the mod. :person_shrugging:

Interesting, I wonder why the lights donā€™t appear to be on, Iā€™ll have to look into it some point

I guess one of the ETs must add one, though Iā€™m surprised it doesnā€™t take the other awayā€¦ so thatā€™s odd

Found a pretty funny ā€œIssueā€ with this mod (I use quotes, because Iā€™m not sure quite how broken this is, nor convinced it needs fixing.)

In Paris - Holiday Hoarders, the Barge Tower start has a present on it. It can be opened to retrieve a Sieger 300. However, because of the way itā€™s spawned in, while playing freelancer, it is spawned with all of itā€™s base game stats intact: 3x zoom, marksman slowdown, and suppressor. The Sieger 300 freelancer version does not have these.

HOWEVER. The game still recognises this as the freelancer version, and thus also assigns it a common rarity and the four gear size it has.

Upon returning to the safehouse, you bring it home with you. However, I personally already had the freelancer Sieger. The intact Sieger does not overwrite the freelancer variant, likely because the stats set it apart from the freelancer weak variant. So, now I have two.

Update: Despite not having the attributes listed, bringing home an un-nerfed Sieger has apparently retroactively buffed my freelancer Sieger, it too can now slow time, and zoom in 3x.

Dropping the Hoarders Sieger drops it to the ground as any mundane (non-storable) item. I have in the past been able to duplicate a sedative syringe, however dropping both simply resulted in two sedative syringes being placed in the slot. This is different.

Update: On reload, the Hoarders Sieger has disappeared. Tragic.

However, my normal Sieger still has the slowdown and the zoom. Either itā€™s always had that and theyā€™re just not listed, or Iā€™ve managed to inadvertently buff my Sieger permanently.

Honestly, Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s the mod, or an issue with the game itselfā€¦ Iā€™ve had similar bugs in Bangkok where there are these weird borders of lighted and darkened areas - yet still in the same ā€œroomā€. Or in Coloradoā€¦ The basement has a lighting bug where itā€™s not darkened like normally.

Should I remove ā€œAll church doors are lockedā€ from Sapienza alerted territory

This means ALL versions of Sapienza have the church doors locked (The Author and the book reading, Landslide, vanilla)

I have removed All Church Doors Locked from Alerted Sapienza on the variant picker website, due to the player being locked forever in the church morgue if they didnā€™t bring anything that can open doors and spawn there
