Kercyx did most of Mumbai’s work, I believe almost all the lamps were already there but had to be turned on one by one in a lot of cases. And stuff like the street lamps were just for show, they didn’t actually turn on, so they were replaced by ones I based off Chongqing’s I think
I had to put a lot of lamps around the city and trainyard and Rangan area because there were just none and the whole city was in darkness for everything but the central area with shops. For people complaining about Mumbai being dark now, they should’ve seen it before!
I saw a similar thing during a showdown on Ambrose Island. Without any interference one of the suspects decided to teleport onto the roof of the hut near the default spawn. This happened in vanilla Freelancer, so I think your bug is probably not caused by the mod.
I’ve added a plugin made by @AnthonyFuller to Nexus, for use in The Peacock Project. Currently only usable in the beta version of Peacock due to that being the only version that supports Freelancer. It reads the exact same JSON as SDK does, so Piepie’s variant picker is also used for Peacock.
Hi! Got crash when trying to load Chongqing.
I tested and seems like it happens only when the tries to load: Chongqing Noodle Massacre (Deploy option or external mod required) (assembly:/_pro/scenes/missions/wet/mission_mild_noodle.brick)
and Chongqing Noodle Massacre - Midday (Deploy option or external mod required) (assembly:/_pro/scenes/missions/wet/mild_noodle_day.brick)
Latest SDK(from link that you provided here earlier), SMF. Installed: LU, FV.

UPD: disabling Chongqing in LU options fixed crashes.
Okay, I’ve looked into this and this will require an update from LU. The good news is it’s an easy fix with no drawbacks, the bad news is I think the creator is taking a little break from modding atm so not sure when it will happen
Just got the same crash trying to load Sapienza. Not sure about “exact” Sapienza, but offing all LU options of Sapienza seems like helped.
Unfortunately, cause of crash after playing next missions - mission rating and XP for mastery bugged. Only way to fix, fully reinstall game. Here we go

After crash i just disabled all options of Sapienza in LU and deploy again, loaded Sapienza and finished mission. Now waiting for downloading game
Do you have any guesses or clues why crashes always broke my mission rating and XP?
Seems like there issue in IOI side, cause i saw MrFreeze in youtube and he got the same bug on PS5.

When i wrote about Chongqing, i was sure that problem with Chongqing Noodle Massacre, cause i checked it by disabling and enabling in .json file.
Now after you answering not sure what LU causes that crash. I should check all 7 variants in FV with LU disabled? It help you to figure out what happened? Or maybe it is just SDK thing…
Like I’ve said in earlier comments, there are a lot of issues with vanilla Freelancer and people shouldn’t automatically blame this mod or the SDK just because something bad has happened.
On the SMF side this mod does nothing but edit the content of some maps, so it doesn’t touch any of the files of the Freelancer system and gamemode itself. Nothing to do with XP or Mastery or Safehouse, etc.
On the SDK Mod side all it does is replace one part of every map’s contract to add randomly loaded bricks (like Safehouse does in vanilla for weather)
As for the SDK itself… tbh I’ve got no idea what it does just by being on even with mods being off, clearly it’s caused some issues for some people
Actually would probably be better to check them with LU enabled if you’ve got time
Okay! I checked every variation of Sapienza.
Crash happens only when i try to load “The ICON” with LU option (Sapienza - The Icon) Vanilla+ = CRASH
Disabling LU option and all good, level loaded. But lol, after reinstalling game i got the same bug with mastery and rating Will try to reinstall and play one mission without any mods.
Thanks, when I tested S1 maps for compatibility I only used Classic and GOTY pack options. It turns out Vanilla+ has incompatibilities I didn’t even know about… except that makes no sense because my mod doesn’t touch The Icon’s ToD brick… at all… literally
Classic and GOTY have better Lighting than Vanilla+? I always thought that it is better to turn on Vanilla+ everywhere Sorry, i did not played H1 on release, only in H2
Classic and GOTY are basically always better by default. Classic Paris makes Holiday Hoarders take place on a nice night, instead of just having a dumb blue filter over everything. Classic makes Marrakesh not yellow, yadda yadda. I’d assume Classic also gets rid of the blue-green filter over The Icon, and I know it gets rid of the green filter over The Vector

I done this:
Clean game install
Copypasted SDK, installed SMF. Add FV, LU to SMF.
In SMF FIRSTLY add to deploy LU, then FV.
I tried to add FV, then LU but this ALWAYS got me the same error when deploying, but when i deploy LU and after FV - all good. There is no error when deploying.
“Deploy” i mean not literally deploy mods separately, just firstly enable LU and then FV and after that click “Apply” button.
Btw, sorry for spam-posting. Just wanted to share some bugs and etc. I really believe that we can made this mods less crashing and more stable.
Afraid my comment will do anything BUT help you narrow it down, but I just got the frozen landslide exit, but I didn’t use old town gate, I used the pink car out near the tunnel and main road, the one where you have to get a key from that one guy at the stalls in the main plaza outside the manor.
Platform is steam, by the way.
Otherwise, I will say, this mod has been incredible and has added so much to my freelancer gameplay, and this has been my first real issue with it
This is so weird. There used to be bugs like this when I first made them based on CTT version, then I realised “Oh I didn’t hook it up properly to existing exit” because Freelancer exits are technically different to normal exits. But… the fact it works for me and about half of other users means it is hooked up properly… so I have no idea what’s going on :S
Thanks for the kind words though, hope you get lots of enjoyment out of it. You might have to just turn Landslide off in the variant picker sadly, as the boat exit will probably be bugged for you too if the other two are
