Mildly Annoying Details (or Lack Thereof)

Something else I just really noticed only quite recently is that some important NPCs who are not the Target don’t seem to have any VIP status and therefore just behave like regular NPC in a dangerous situation and while it generally makes sense to stop Non-Target characters from cluttering up evacuation/safe zones, there are a few exceptions, the most jarring one being Sheikh Omar Al-Ghazahli in Dubai in my opnion.

I mean this is Guy who owns the Building and yet the Guards give prirority to his guests of honor, while he is left for himself?

Try “blending in” at the spots where you drink wine in levels like Paris or Isle of Sgàil, while holding a briefcase… It’s not a pretty sight…

I have no idea if anyone else brought it up here or not.

But I wanted to mention that in game the durian is legal to carry absolutely everywhere but in real life you are not allowed to bring the durian into hotels in Thailand, therefore, 47 should not be allowed to carry the durian inside the Himmapan Hotel in any disguise (even Chef).
It would be so cool if IOI would implement it into the game.

Oh my god, I forgot about that one. I just watched it again. It look hilariously bad

The fact that prestige in freelancer only gives a merces and xp boost for the first five prestiges but there is a challenge for pretiging 10 times.

And that prestiging doesn’t reward a permanent unlock like a suit, a weapon for the wall or an upgrade to the safe house.

I’m annoyed by the fact that the Green/Black/Blue Streak suits are each exclusive to different platforms. I hate when developers do stuff like this.

At least they made the White Sunset unlockable through challenges when the Stadia died…

The so-called Plague Doctor disguise functions as the regular suit with no impact on dialogue and unable to hide on the…uh…thing 47 can normally hide on when the Plague Doctor. I can safely guess the recent trend of unique disguises are or will be equally flawed. Don’t expect a hazmat suit to provide protection in the virus chamber if added as a suit unlock in near future.

Kinda missed the point, it’s a very specific situation that is specified in real life but the game excuses, knives being legal to carry around is different.

So not a glitch and will never be “corrected”? Instead they just take up space.

Maybe add a “Party City” logo and/or a “Made In China” tag to these disguise-looking suits.

Plague Doctor startup could work in the main Sapienza mission and that should’ve probably been included with the unlock. Similar start-ups could probably be done for the Street Soldier disguise with the map blend point as the start-up in Columbia and the Knight at one of the blend points in Sgail. Those are just a few examples of many.

I live in a place where carrying any blade or gun is pretty much legal all the time so it’s odd to me that any knife would be considered illegal. I can walk into a supermarket with an AK-47 in one hand and a sword in the other and no one would blink an eye.

For that matter, 47 carrying a bottle of Vodka should definitely cause the same reaction as carrying a sniper rifle as in made absolutely illegal for all disguises.

Honestly carrying that famous bottle of Pinot Noir in Paris should make the guards try to arrest 47 for vagrancy.

Perhaps it really is as you say it, but there is a difference between carrying a firearm or knife visibly on your person and wielding it in your hand (frequently called “brandishing”) - certainly in US states with open carry, you can’t wield a weapon in your hand (or indeed, any action that could reasonably be interpreted as intent to use it) unless you are doing so to legitimately defend yourself.

I’d say that in WoA, if we ignore the fact that non-police guard disguises are allowed to brandish almost any weapon, it does make sense for civilian disguises to be disallowed from brandishing.

I immediately thought of the Midnight Black Suit and how it permits you to walk around the yard of the villa in Mendoza and not be trespassing.

I had a couple paragraphs reasoning this out, such as rules for the Ninja suit (normally used in Hokkaido, but can be used in other missions via mods) and the reactions it supposed to get. But then thought…

Can anybody check? Play Sapienza and wear the Plague Doctor suit from the prep screen, go to the church and see if it’s trespassing or not.

The Plague Doctor disguise is considered ‘trespassing’ in the church.

And I guess also see if you can change into the disguise if already in the suit version. I’d try it myself but I’m at work. :expressionless: Otherwise it’ll be another 8’ish hours before I can check, come back and edit with my findings.

Early Edit: There is the white ninja suit that lets you start in the (whatever, sauna, massage area) in Hokkaido and it’s immediately trespassing.

I’ve checked, it is not considered trespassing.

Also, if may I add my issues, some Season 1 ET’s portrait’s are waaaay off the center. Most notably The Twin. I’m not sure why this wasn’t fixed, as it was already done with some previous ET’s (Chameleon, Warlord, etc.)

These had their portraits already adjusted.

Your Ingame hud looks clean, what mod is that?

Not who you asked but Heritage UI is what you want.

See I always thought the Twin’s image was meant to represent like an infinite loop like one half of one twin’s face matches perfectly with the other on the other side. I always found it cool.
