Even better would be a lab starting point that lets you choose a suit and bring a loadout.
For fun, (and for Grey!)
(it might also revitalise speedrun routes of it, Carpathian is always the slowest and most boring part of them)
(and if there is a need of a canon diegetic reason: start in the lab wagons storage room, and describe it as 47 having found his suit and equipment stored up after capture)
Something else I just really noticed only quite recently is that some important NPCs who are not the Target don’t seem to have any VIP status and therefore just behave like regular NPC in a dangerous situation and while it generally makes sense to stop Non-Target characters from cluttering up evacuation/safe zones, there are a few exceptions, the most jarring one being Sheikh Omar Al-Ghazahli in Dubai in my opnion.
I mean this is Guy who owns the Building and yet the Guards give prirority to his guests of honor, while he is left for himself?
The Han Encasement (Mumbai escalation) has a misaligned texture on the hand of the NPC shown in the cover image.
(The electricity is wrapping around a finger bone, but the bone does not line up with the actual hand)
The image for the “Fell for It” challenge from the Ark Society has the keycard and kill switch Sophia drops, which should not be present in a cinematic image
I have no idea if anyone else brought it up here or not.
But I wanted to mention that in game the durian is legal to carry absolutely everywhere but in real life you are not allowed to bring the durian into hotels in Thailand, therefore, 47 should not be allowed to carry the durian inside the Himmapan Hotel in any disguise (even Chef).
It would be so cool if IOI would implement it into the game.
You think that’s bad? On Casual Mode, all knives are legal to carry in all disguises. There is no real reason for this to be the case, since lethal melees that are already legal (screwdriver, unicorn horn, garden fork, shears, fiber wires, etc.) are pretty common anyways.
The so-called Plague Doctor disguise functions as the regular suit with no impact on dialogue and unable to hide on the…uh…thing 47 can normally hide on when the Plague Doctor. I can safely guess the recent trend of unique disguises are or will be equally flawed. Don’t expect a hazmat suit to provide protection in the virus chamber if added as a suit unlock in near future.
Kinda missed the point, it’s a very specific situation that is specified in real life but the game excuses, knives being legal to carry around is different.
