Agree with you on the featured contracts reward for the DAX covert gold it definitely needs swapping.

Also with you on the screwdriver and goldballer as unlocks (screwdriver the only tool left to be issued as a permanent unlock)

Hopefully they add in a few more half decent ones for the missing featured contracts challenges too.

Which, compared to the current tactleneck unlock, needs to come in a slightly darker black.

I’ve done over 40 contracts and unlocked the Phantom Suit but still haven’t unlocked the Arkian Tuxedo or the Red-Tie Kiwi for some reason even though they require fewer completed contracts. Also the “Featured Contracts - Track 1, Tier 5” tracker is all screwed up. See attached image. I’m at 63/25 apparently but still haven’t unlocked the suit. Anyone else have this issue? (This is on PC btw)

The Jaeger 7 Covert and all the syringes (Antique, Modern, MK II) got improved inventory images too.

Yeah, but the syringes are just bigger pictures, nothing significant like the cx blocks, and I’m lazy lol. So I’ll just leave the syringes alone. I’ll update the Jager 7 Covert later. Thank you for letting me know :slight_smile:

Uhhhhhh… I don’t have that bug because I have everything in Hitman 2, and it just automatically complete the challenges in Hitman 3 for me. I never pop the challenges myself, so I don’t know how to fix that bug. I think you should put your problem on the bug report thread and hope IOI read it, and fix it in the next update. Sorry can’t help much :frowning:

Fun Fact: The ICA19 Classic was renamed the ICA19 Classicballer by the February Patch. Only just noticed it today while using the handgun to rambo through a contract.

I really enjoy Hitman 3, but I have the impression that H3 unlocks are downgraded compared to H1 and H2. I understand that H3 is intended to be played alone (without H1/2) and indeed, must provide the essential items (poison, weapons, syringe…). Yes, the items are reskined, avoiding the MK2 sticker, but still…
Just to illustrate my point of view, when H2 was released, a lot of MK2 stuffs were available as unlocks in H2. It was justified for the same reason as H3 (being played as a standalone and so, giving access to essential items).

But when H2 was released, in addition to MK2, there were a lot of new items with new mechanics: Kalmer, Taser, Concussion, Grenade, EMP, Briefcase, Flash devices, Sieker, Electrocution phone, Conceleable shotgun, Micro explosives…

But simultaneously, there were still unique items with the legacy pack: Breaching charge, Undetected pistol, knife and baton, Subsonic sniper rifle (Sieger Ghost), Subsonic pistol (Krugermeier), Semi-auto assault rifle, The Big One, Shuriken (3x lethal in one slot), Explosive phone, Sedative syringe…

In summary, the unique items were quite balanced between H1 and H2.

However, H3 introduced a lot of duplicated items from H1 (Sniper Hackl, Custom 5mm, Kruger Silver, BC MKIII…), reducing the importance of H1 unlocks. As I said previously, I understand the reason behind this choice (providing the most important items with unique mechanic to players who own only H3).
But I think it would be a good thing to put more items with unique mechanics in H3 (like a remote sedative gas device…).

Also, I think IOI missed an opportunity to introduce the ET suits to mastery map levels. Would be great to unlock them like it does for H3 suits. Maybe this was impossible to introduce: Imagine the scandal if a player who reach mastery level 20 in Paris (but don’t get the ET-related suit) can’t get access to this suit.
A good compromise will be a challenge like IOI introduced in the last patch: a new challenge (asking to finish the mission) with the suit tied to it.

i dont think thats the reason tbh. they just dont have the same budget / scope for H3. less dense maps, 5 sandboxes, few new mechanics, reskinned weapons…

they’re pretty much frontloading the work of new unlocks onto the artists and the programmers are probably working on some other projects. so i hope the post-launch content introduces some new mechanics like H2 did :crossed_fingers:

Welp then,

here’s two suits that’ll be unlockable and usable everywhere, first is the Season 2 Elusive Target Reward (Solstice Suit)


And second is this Butcher suit, which comes with a bone saw and a meathook (will probably be used for the last Deluxe Escalation)

Considering it’s most likely a reward for something in H2 atleast it’s not a pink mk.2 one.
Edit. Also, why didn’t we get this stuff on relase like we did with H2 items for owning H1?
