Sounds good. Not many or any unlocks with new functionality but at least they played it safe. IO aren’t the kind to have MGSV style weapon balancing with stuff like “this weapon is incredibly OP so you can’t get the highest rating if you use it” so this is a better way to do it. Maybe we’ll get better unlocks when with post-launch content. Like for example Hitman 2’s most useful but still balanced items: shaman powder, emetic grenade, sieker. Were all added after the game came out.

Since when was there a MkI or MkII of a remote sedative explosive ?! Not that I’m complaining, it could be quite useful.
Only read Dubai so far, and wont go any further, can you please show us the MK3 suitcase?

I’m not diving into this so I don’t spoil myself but the suits being tied to level 20 makes me curious about how the ET’s will work. They put the Mumbai suit on an escalation because we never got an ET there. Maybe this means we won’t get too many ET’s again.

Same here. I thought they might give us ETs forever now, but then why give us the suits as unlocks already if they would have wanted to make them part of the game anyway? Im wondering if that means they added the suits to legacy maps aswell, at mastery levels.

Yeah. I found it strange since we never have a sedative explosive before in the game. However, if you play the Hitman 2 randomizer mod, you can sometime get the “Explosive cure gas device” , which act almost identical to this. But we cannot access it in the normal game at all. The name of this unlock in German is “ICA annäherungs-betäubungs-sprengkörper Mk3” , and google translate gave me Proximity Explosive Sedative . So I’m not sure about this
That would make a lot more sense. Tying them to reruns of ET’s isn’t too great imo. I ended up messing up the Bangkok ET rerun and now that’s the one suit I’m missing. I can’t imagine keeping this lackluster system especially since now there’s even more targets that they’ll have to rerun. Also, many of Hitman 2’s locations only had one ET.

I couldn’t stay away and I’m not too disappointed in myself since I’d be seeing this in 3 days right away.
I’m very glad the red dart gun is another tranquilizer. Not only does it look sweet and we’ll be able to get more ammo, but a lethal dart gun would’ve been very OP. I mean approaching electrocution phone OP.

Yeah. All the Mk3 items have a new model/appearance. The closest item to a pink sticker is the new default ICA19. It has a white barcode III on the side instead of the sticker, like in the Hitman III title

I’m a little disappointed that they would still stick to that “mk” naming style, because it leaves a weird taste.
At least models look differently so it’s already better.

Feel bit bad for giving in and seeing the list but interesting to see suits are now tied to Mastery.
Though does anyone know if they will set it as the same for Hitman 1 and 2 Mastery Tracks in Hitman 3?

How many suits are still locked behind ETs? Maybe they’re making them unlockable in Whittleton Creek and New York.
Or at least they could be unlocked through Escalations, like a couple of them in Mumbai.
