Isnāt that just some fancy sink for washing dishes? Thatās what I always assumed that was.
How would that work, realistically? You dump all the dishes in there, drain the thing, open the doors to take them out? Thereās no tap to rinse them off, once theyāre in there you canāt get them out without diving in or draining the whole thing. It spans the whole wall. Thatās an immense waste of water and a lot of manual labour.
Dip them, or set them in it to let them soak, pull them out, wipe them off with a towel, put them away. The cupboards underneath are merely decorative.
This was the first thought that came into my head upon seeing this and itās never occurred to me it would be anything else. Given how decadent the hotel is, itās supposed to be an impressive waste of water, similar to those decadent urinals in the Merovingianās palace in The Matrix Reloaded.
The pool goes all the way to the floor, you canāt set them in to let them soak, that thing is deeper than your arms are long. There are two normal sinks in the same kitchen. You canāt use soap or even just rinse them in there. Thatād be so unhygienic to ācleanā dishes in this thing. Iām pretty sure the fancy hotel can afford an industry-grade dishwasher like any other hotel or restaurant.

I think its depth is just a flaw of the game, they couldnāt make it look shallow enough. Itās not actually as deep as it looks. Makes more sense as a flaw than they just put a pool there and havenāt noticed all this time.
IĀ“m pretty sure they can also afford to install some kind of lift somewhere. To this day, I canĀ“t imagine how exactly does room service function in that hotel in terms of moving sheets and other stuff to and from the basement laundry room, kitchen, etc. The Himmapan has so many design flaws that a completely ineffective and senseless swimming-pool cupboard/sink felt perfectly normal to a lot of us
I feel the same way about the bunker in the safehouse. Thereās no lift or elevator, just two ladders and a staircase. How the hell is 47 getting the letter decoration items and machinery down there? And quite a few other things across the game. Certain things that donāt make sense placed where they are. Surely a long and deep sink that looks at a glance like a pool had a place.

) was removed from them_aVideDatabases
array in the video database list entity (entity id:abe679c7c19e3fd9
) in the latest update, both of these are found inassembly:/templates/ui/menuresources.template?/videodatabaselist.entitytemplate
. This mod just re-adds that.
In addition to the above changes, another Iāve noticed: when playing Nightcall, if you wait for Alma Reynard to wake up and make the phone call to her sister, she no longer does it. Instead, something has gone wrong, and she and Orson will both wake up, he will reiterate his instructions to the guard to look out for max, even though thereās no guard in the room, and then stand in the doorway to the bathroom and continue to stand there and stare into it indefinitely.
Meanwhile, Alma will head toward the balcony door like she normally would, except she then turns around and proceeds to the closet mirror and begins to examine herself and sometimes even performs the actions to change into her pajamas that sheās already wearing, exactly as she does when she and Orson first enter the closet together and undress. Sheāll then walk back into the bed room toward the balcony door again, and then turn around and repeat the same process, again indefinitely. Donāt know when this change happened, but I certainly donāt remember it prior to the most recent update.
One other thing that I donāt think is necessarily related to this update, but perhaps worth noting: Rico Delgadoās bio seems to be shorter than I remember. Iāve always felt that the bios of some characters have been rewritten over the years, and unless Iām pulling the Mandela Effect on myself, I could swear that his bio used to be longer, and actually mentioned that he was still trying to find out who killed his uncle and cousins, and that the Shadow Client had promised to reveal that information to him in exchange for his alliance. Am I crazy, or remembering wrong, or did that not used to be part of his bio?
I have a disk copy of H2 i could try checking for this detail (not rn but in a week or two, itās a long tedious process to install)
