The heats are over! The quarter-finals now begin! Which missions will survive to the semi-finals?
Rules:
Players get 1 point to add to the board, and 2 points to subtract
Points may be split up how you wish.
No decimalised points allow, so basically no half or quarter points permitted
Players may play the game once per day
Players are not allowed to “save” missed day postings and post multiple times on a single day. If you miss playing on August 1st, you can not play twice on August 2nd.
No duplicate accounts are allowed to play
No account younger than a week is allowed to play
When a mission reaches 0 points, it is immediately removed from the game
The game will end when 7 missions are eliminated, and the 10 missions remaining will move on to the quarter-finals.

I generally think older games will be at a disadvantage due to the number of people that have played them. But perhaps people like Ochoa and IlikeHitman will be able to preserve some of the better older levels
Unfortunately I do think for the most part Abs is doomed
Will be interesting. When we did the last mission championship, before Patient Zero had been announced, some Absolution missions did make it through to the end, and
Invitation to a Party from Hitman 2
won the championship. Be very interesting to see how this championship compares to the last.
I don’t think that’s the only problem though.I was actually thinking about which missions I would like to see in the finals a few days ago and I realised that the WOA triology has so many awesome missions I love that it will be really difficult to save older missions tbh and there will be a though fight for the ones which actually manage to qualify. @Silvereyes How many missions will be in the final by the way?I know there were 20 last time,but we have two more games now,so maybe there will be a few more this time…

not sure if my plus to Shaving Lenny was out of spite for the death of Chongqing, or how much fun I had on my first playthrough compared to Fight Night
Eh, well, 20. In the old format, I think each game’s heat was roughly around half, whereas this time it was usually abit above half. More qualifying missions and 2 more games ontop. In the old game, it was 2 semi-finals with 20 missions each, which led to a final with 20 missions. Here, we have 4 quarter-finals which have 17 missions each, which will lead to 2 semi-finals with 20 missions each, and finally a grand final with 20 missions.

I know, I see it the same way. And as for BP, while I agree it´s the strongest contender from Abs missions to advance, I feel like it has stronger competition than KoC :-/

Who thought having a tunnel base map with H2SA’s detection system was a good idea? There is literally no way to walk by some soldiers except by ducking into those little alcoves and waiting for them to pass but even then it barely works.
A stationary target isn’t bad if the path to them is fun and challenging but Tubeway is just terrible. To rub salt in the wound, the level is one of the longest in the entire series dragging out the torture for no reason.
I think in the Abs heat too I was fairly critical of Shaving Lenny
