Hitman: Freeloader

There are none, sorry Heisenberg.

The rare or higher non lethal melee are the Mace, the Concealable Baton, the Okinawan Tonfa, and the Collector Crowbar.
None of them are in those three maps.

There is only one chance for you : the vendor.
For any of those four. If you are lucky, and have the means for one.

Motherfuck. That means I’m gonna have to play those and hope I get lucky, especially if I can get it before having to do all three, because the fourth map has that ad an objective and I don’t want to fail any right now while I’m building up my money, but I also don’t want my showdown to be on that map because it’s alerted.

Don’t be an idiot like me and buy the mace (especially if you “plan” to lose it afterwards), you can get it for free in Sgail (on top of the tower where the knight armor is).

The mace can also be found in the relic donation room and the dungeon ceremony chamber. The donation room is the easiest place to get it imho.

I need it within one of those three maps if I’m going to avoid failing an objective. I’m not so concerned what I spend the money on so long as my objectives are complete. Sgail isn’t an option right now.

(Oh wait I’m thinking of the Dungeon room – the area with the free Ark disguise?)

It is if you don’t get spotted stealing it, making the weirdly MASSIVE crowd of guards chilling in that room use you as target practice…

Nah the tower’s way easier, climb the pipes along the top, bonk / distract a couple of guards and that’s it, it can even be done suit only without much trouble. The other rooms are full of people and you need a guard disguise to grab it without attracting attention :x

There is also a baseball bat in I think the turtle hut in haven, one of the huts at least

Also a bat at the top of Rangan’s Tower. I’ve seen it all over the place actually, I just can’t be bothered to pick one up yet considering you can’t stash it in a briefcase.

Is the bat in Delgado’s little museum to himself rare enough to take back too? I haven’t tried picking it up but I remember there being one. Also, I haven’t looked but I know there’s a baseball uniform in the Hokkaido director’s office. Does he have a bat up there too?

Pretty sure there is a bat in the Hokkaido office too.

If anyone wants a super duper easy Baseball bat close to an exit, I recommend the one just past the entrance to the Berlin club (past the frisk point/shortcut door) It’s under the counter on the staff side, right next to a Staff Area key and a poisoned plate.
If you get a guard disguise, easy peasy grab and go to the bike exit – or without a guard disguise, sprint away before you get shot to death…

Anyway, there’s plenty of Baseball Bats to find in Freelancer, and if you wear a guard outfit, you can exfiltrate with a Large Gun on your back, a Large Gun in a briefcase, and a Bat in your other hand, great combo IMO

I really hope “The Big One” always available at the safehouse. It’s very helpful for ignite the oil leak from oil cannister. Of course we can always shoot it but sometimes there were “perfect shooter” or “no firearms” objective included. Taser & EMP doesn’t work. Other explosive may kill the targets. The only explosive that small enough to ignite the fire without kill the target was breaching charge but we not always have them. I know there’s chances for “The Big One” appears in one of the crate but it’s random.

Doesn’t the battery work? There’s one in the safehouse garage and most maps have one somewhere.

No, battery also doesn’t work. It can ignite the propane flask but can’t ignite fire.

Most people probably know, but chloroform can also be obtained in the morgue area in Sgail. The locked room above also has a baseball bat, but for some reason I didn´t get a prompt to pick it up.

On a slightly different note, how come the ICA Impact Explosive only makes an appearance now? I would´ve expected something like that to have been an unlock in the main game.

Chloroform also in New York in a cabinet near the security room next to the vault

I think what’s good about a late game Freelancer player is if you’re comfortable enough with the mode and get your knack down you can easily replace consumed Freelancer Tools on command basically via the Supply Crate Diana gives you at the end of every mission since you have all the tools possible.

You could also leave a couple of things in the crate & guarantee the supplier will have them when you need them, saving gear slots on situationally-useful tools

There are actually 2 chloroform bottles in NY, one in that cabinet and one in a locker (those lockers have tons of free stuff, including a Burial Dagger and an Antique Curved Knife).

It would be interesting to make a post about which poisons can be found in which maps and kept afterwards, as poison rarity’s currently pretty weird (most lethal poisons found in maps have no rarity and can’t be kept IIRC).

Aside from that, it’s possible to get a DAK X2 Covert (not the legendary one, the other) from Noel Crest. A pretty good weapon as it’s both silenced and full auto, so it can be used to open doors in a pinch.
