I’m sure I’m not alone in not loving the Twitch drop idea.
Not only am I old and not a fan of these types of corpo “integration” efforts, nor of watching other people play games to be honest, but also it seems like it creates a unique timing conflict.
Much of the beauty of an elusive target is in the discovery. For this Twitch thing, presumably the busiest it will be is when the Drop drops. So my choices are to play the ET as fast as I can, and then watch loud strangers do it, or take the ET on my own time and potentially miss out on some streams of it a few days later into its run, as the players will have decreased.
Am I missing something? Twitch streams + elusive targets seem like conflicting concepts in a way.

You can do what I always do when I just want a drop: let the stream run on mute in a different tab until you get the drop notification.
I kinda like the idea of a Twitch drop, but you’re right: it clashes with the concept of a one-chance-only mission. I want to explore this target on my own. I’ll happily watch select others do it once I’m done with it.

That greatly depends on who you watch. Like, sure, logically there’s going to be spoilers no matter what, but to say that they are incompatible is kind of stretching things a bit here. Not everyone is loud like Jacksepticeye, nor as knowledgeable as Gavin Free is. I’d bet most people who are gonna stream are just discovering stuff for the first time too. You’re kinda putting people into groups here when that isn’t really a good idea. There are many flavours of Twitch streamers.
Part of the appeal of twitch streams, especially ones like this, is group discovery; I.E, finding out things live with other people, making for a communal experience that enhances the viewing experience. That’s…good in my opinion.
Back when I played Payday 2, I very often watched twitch streams of the new heist that released, not as a way to spoil myself, but to hear general opinions of the update and what to look out for. It can be a fun time.
Also admitting that you’re a grumpy old fart does not exempt you for acting like a grumpy old fart.

There are really fun Twitch streamers by the way who play Hitman. I like to visit the stream of Mungadungalis in the evening for example.
Does not have to be a chore.

I hope @MrOchoa is pleased. I hope no one spoiled this for MrOchoa… 
I was expecting it would have been a reward in the Final roadmap for H3, since it was a trilogy-wide challenge pack essentially, but this makes sense too!
Love that they’re actually giving us chances to unlock fan-favourite, requested, heavily desired suits that have been overlooked for so long. The Jack-O-Lantern suit! Are you happy now, HMF??

Twitch Drop is… ehhh? The purple might be okay? The fact that it’s related to needing to watch people playing the ET is a little weird (though honestly people won’t just be playing the ET on the 27th – you’ll still be able to unlock it if someone finishes the ET then continues on to do other Hitman stuff.
I’ll just do what I always do for Drops – leave a Drops stream open in the background on my computer, then come back in like an hour when it’s done!

So I take it the codename 47 suit is the second time a meta joke unlock is canon ever since the executive briefcase MK II?
the suits look really nice. but i’ll repeat what i said when they released the pumpkin-less version of the suit - why couldn’t we have just done this earlier? there was really no need to add the inferior version and make us wait another year for the version that was already in the game

IOI’s servers are currently down, but thankfully there is already a copy of the roadmap here 
It’s crazy to think that last year, it wasn’t even certain, that we will get a year 3 with new content and now we have all this. Pretty amazing, gg IOI 
I’m curious about that Twitch drop:
- Can we watch any Hitman WoA player or only a few specific channels handpicked by IOI?
- The description says we need to watch streamers play the elusive target. How would that work if channels are not handpicked? How would Twitch be able to distinguish ET gameplay from other Hitman WoA gameplay?
- Is that drop really only live on October 27? Usually these drops run for a few days.

Looking forward to the challenges that come with the Codename 47 suit. The Deluxe callbacks were already pretty interesting, so consider me excited.
Not a fan of the Twitch drop at all. The completionist in me thinks it’s very unfair to make us jump through these kinds of hoops in real life to get something in a game.
That pumpkin suit is new! Will the mission that comes with it be as well?
