It looks like its still the PS4 build. If it’s the PS5 build, it would say PS5 on it where the PS4 logo is (which is what mine says).

In light of the release of Agent 17’s Signature Suit, now we need some content making use of that new outfit. One possiblity is an escalation where the player has to eliminate The Kashmirian as Agent 17 while he is actively manning his sniper rifle and Dawood Rangan is posing for his portrait. Making Rangan a blue VIP means the player has to finish the job before The Kashmirian can finish his. If The Kashmirian is eliminated/subdued before both he and Rangan are in position OR he aborts because his rifle is missing, it’s an automatic failure. Oh and fixing the scope must be mandatory.

Very nice unlocks this time around. All long-requested items. The Agent 17 suit (one of the suits I´ve been hoping for for years) definitely made my day and is a nice anniversary “present”.
Need to check the patch notes in detail, but the new Mendoza exit is most certainly welcome.
Also, can we just all agree that the best thing about this roadmap is Clemens doing a video again, after such a long time?

I like the Agent 17 suit, because that’s gonna give me a lot of playing leeway. As I’ve documented extensively on here (some might say exhaustively), when I play this game I usually do so as 47 the character, which is when I must follow my parameters of perfection due to compulsion. When I don’t, it’s literally uncomfortable for me. Using all the other suits that have been made available, at times when I don’t feel like playing to perfection and just want to screw around a little, I can sort of imagine that I’m playing as a different assassin who doesn’t have a reputation to keep; the Undying, Cashmirian, White Shadow and Guru suits really help this. However, the fact that it’s still clearly 47 in a different suit makes the suspension of disbelief hard to maintain (the White Shadow being the sole exception).
But now, with the Agent 17 suit, I can actually visualize it as the actual 17, because he’s supposed to look like that. And he’s supposed to have skills similar to 47, but not quite as good, not quite as discreet, and although cunning enough to almost out-gambit 47, he doesn’t really think for himself, he just does what he’s told. So, 17 would just knock on a target’s door, wait for them to open it, blast them with a shotgun, and then shut the door and walk away without even hiding the body. I couldn’t do something so painfully amateurish and sloppy while playing as 47, but now I can do so imagining that I’m actually 17, and his visual similarities to 47 don’t break the illusion.
I think imma have some fun this weekend.

I know that the HPP gets a lot of shit these days, but I really appreciate your write-ups to this project. They’re entertaining to the point where perfectionism is barely covered in Hitman as opposed to broader playstyles like speedrunning or playing it modded.
Not to mention even applying this to the Agent 17 suit, a character that nobody would’ve put any thought into a one-time target. I’m of the belief that people should do whatever they want to play in a video game and embrace other styles, no matter how conflicting they may be. I think people should be more cautious in encouraging strict guidelines in how you play a video game that’s designed for replayability.

The Agent 17 suit is a nice, subtle way for IO to celebrate Silent Assassin’s 20-year anniversary this month. Although it’s literally Agent 47’s suit with an orange tie and sunglasses, the fans have been asking for it for years, so it’s nice that IO have listened.
