I figured, I just wasn’t sure, since this was an official and apparently permanent rebranding of the game title, so maybe a slight rebranding of that game’s section might be in the works as well.

If I recall when it launched it was H2, but then when H3 launched it was patched to become what was H3 on other platforms.
Its basically the closest IO got to the original vision for the trilogy. And now it’s the first to die.

No, it was always Hitman: World of Assassination on Stadia. Practically the same thing as Hitman 2 and 3, just with a different startup screen.

That’s exactly what I meant. The game itself was actually just a rebranded H2, before getting patched to become a rebranded H3.

I wonder if “Hitman Trilogy” would have been the unified branding going forward, but Google dropping Stadia prompted them to recycle that branding instead.

I would like to add to the conversation that I hope they change the logo back to the white variant. Like in the latest Freelancer announcement. Looks more classy and fits this trilogy more.

I almost would’ve done a Left Half of one and Right Half of the other. Just need better res pics…
Edit: Now, the hard part is scaling them both to the appropriate size.

If this second picture is to be the new main key art for the rebranded H3/WoA app, I hope IOI will put out some official HQ desktop and mobile wallpapers for it (like they did for H3 on the Hitman.com media page) so that we can all update our devices with the swanky new look.

If the white one was from 2016, and the dark/shadowy one is for WoA (and closely resembles H3)… I think we just need a fitting H2 varia… tion.

The shadowy pic is supposed to represent all three games: (R to L) Red = H3, Black = H2 and White = H1. It’s like the Trinity pack suits.

It never clicked before now, but those all correspond to 47’s color scheme: white for his shirt, red for his tie, and black for his suit. Could also describe the man himself: a white man with red blood and a black soul. I know 47’s mostly good underneath, but the guy commits murder for money and doesn’t care why, that puts you in anti-villain territory at best, villain protagonist at worst.

That’s really cool, but they should have had it so that red was in the middle, white was on either side of it, and black was on the outer edge so that resembled 47s suit (which was the main reasoning behind choosing those three colors).

AFAIK in the Trinity Pack red is for H2 and black for H3, which makes sense considering these game’s menus.
