I bet if IOI announced that completion of all 7 sins would unlock the Electrocution Phone, everyone would be buying the pass.
It should be an unlock for Sloth, for every person too lazy to figure out a method of taking out a target and going for the easy Electrocution Phone accident kill instead.
Jokes aside, sometimes I miss it, especially when I’m getting tired of trying to isolate a target (and I hate myself for these thoughts).
They should give us the phone and then punish our sin by having it no longer count as an accident.
We don’t actually know to be fair? All we know is Act 1: Greed will be Escalation based but the rest remains a mystery so far. I have a feeling it might all be based the same but I could be wrong.
Like I’ve said before, I’d love a few bonus missions built around existing locations as well like they did with the previous games.
I’d bet at least 5 of them are escalations, one for each real map, but who knows really.
Edit: By the way, when will this be up for sale on Epic? Not until release day?
They’re saying instore March 30th so I’d presume it’s the same for Epic.
You’re probably right, but either way I’m looking forward to see what we get
I wonder if for Wrath they make a troll contract that would make the players rage. Like insta fail conditions or just make it extremely hard…
Everyone’s an enforcer and carries a gun in Berlin.
Are the patch notes announcements tomorrow?
I hope they add Hawke’s Bay exit, clue skip and custom portraits for some NPCs in Contracts mode in future patches. Didn’t know where to put this but I just found out the Mogwai thing and that means they could add the custom portraits they made for Berlin’s ICA agents and the NYC data disk holders their default portraits.
Had a few more thoughts on this. Apologies if this has already been brought up because I have skimmed past some parts of this thread.
I find interesting on thought how this actually reminds me of the “season passes” games like PUBG, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Fall Guys etc do. Multiplayer games which constantly have events and stuff going on, and combine free content with premium season passes. Interesting how Hitman really does operate its post-game like a multiplayer title.
Perhaps why I can’t help but find it a bit disappointing. I think multiplayer games doing this makes sense since they depend on keeping their servers filled with players, and you have a sense of community while playing online, perhaps playing those kindof games with a friend or two. With a game like Hitman 3 though, it’s not a game I play all the time. I love it but I also move onto other games.
I’ll also admit theme of this season pass doesn’t interest me that much, although I am loving some of the fan art and ideas people are prompted by the methaphorical nature of this DLC. Doesn’t help either that the Greed pack is in Dubai, one of my least favourite locations, and like others, not really a fan of the suit. Maybe the other packs will be more interesting.
I guess really, I just want some meatier content. I know we’re not getting another location but I really, still hope we maybe at least get some bonus missions. I mean, I always liked the idea of the Patient Zero DLC, even though I think the quality of it wasn’t too high, probably because IOI rushed it out due to their financial situation at the time. So I mean the idea of another stab at that would be awesome, especially with the slight tease by one IOI dev about using locations from across all 3 games to make it.
Yeah, I know, IOI never promised it. But would be nice to see Hitman 3 end on a high.
I’m sorry but this is quite expensive for escalations and reskins. I think if IOI have more ambitious plans (proper new special missions, new functional items, new locations) then they should at least tease them now. There are hesitant purchasers off the back of the lacklustre deluxe edition that don’t want to pay that amount for another of those. There are also big Hitman fans who want to support IOI and just need a tease of something a bit more substantial to splash the cash.
On 30 March at 1pm UTC, HITMAN 3: Seven Deadly Sins will be available to purchase on all platforms, either through the HITMAN 3 in-game store or on the platform storefronts.
To enjoy the new HITMAN 3: Seven Deadly Sins expansion, players have two options. They can purchase each content pack individually, or together as part of the Seven Deadly Sins Collection , which gives access to all seven content packs as they are released over time.
How much does a Content Pack/Sin cost?
If you purchase a single Content Pack (Sin), it will cost $4.99 / £4.19 / €4.99 or the regional equivalent.
If you purchase the Seven Deadly Sins Collection , which gives access to all 7 content packs as they are released, it will cost $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 or regional equivalent.
When are the content packs released?
They will be released over time, starting on 30 March with Act 1: Greed . The second content pack is planned to be released on May 10 2021.
What exactly am I looking for on the store?
On 30 March, the first content pack will be available for purchase at 1pm UTC. At this time, the following options will be available on the HITMAN 3 in-game store and the platform storefronts:
HITMAN 3: Seven Deadly Sins Collection
HITMAN 3: Seven Deadly Sins Act 1: Greed
When new sins become available, owners of the Seven Deadly Sins Collection will be able to download them at no additional charge.
Is the Seven Deadly Sins content included in the Deluxe Edition of HITMAN 3?
No, the Seven Deadly Sins content is separate DLC and not included in the Standard or Deluxe Edition of HITMAN 3.
It’s bad. Just bad
How about answering the question: what content does the thing you’re already charging money for actually contain?
Which is actually the most frequently asked question - I’ve not seen anyone ask any of the questions they made up to answer.
They have said already there will be no new maps. We can hope some of the “sins” are bonus missions, or that they do a Patient Zero style thing later, but there will be no new maps straight from IOI’s lips, and people should stop hoping/expecting them.
It’s best to assume that they aren’t gonna speak about this because plans change. I guarantee when we get the big roadmap in a few days it will have a disclaimer that things are subject to change.
